FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (1/14/20): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Austyn Varney highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 1/14/20, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

Welcome to NBA Tuesday night. We have six games on the board tonight with a ton of different options to pay up for. We're looking at Anthony Davis being questionable and a ton of other injuries to pay attention to. There is value to pay down for, but we have to get it perfect in tournaments if we wan to take down some serious cash.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 1/14/20. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks.

Give me a follow on Twitter @DFSVarney and say hello. Good luck RotoBallers, let's dive right in!

FanDuel DFS Guards

James Harden - SG, HOU @ MEM ($11,700)

With Russell Westbrook ruled out, it’s hard not to love James Harden in every format tonight. The Grizzlies play fast and they’re no longer a team that plays much defense. In fact, they rank 28th in defensive efficiency and they’ll be switching new guards on Harden all night long looking for something to stick. I fully expect over 60 fantasy points and 70+ isn’t out of the realm of possibilities. Harden is the top overall play on this slate and I’ll have 100% in cash games and tournaments.

Emmanuel Mudiay - PG, UTA @ BKN ($4,800)

With Mike Conley out, Emmanuel Mudiay is locked into his 28+ minutes and the match-up with Brooklyn is a tremendous one. Mudiay has now been over 25 FanDuel points in three straight games and his role is going nowhere. Irving is a very weak defender and he’s just coming back after a long stint out. Don’t expect lockdown defense on a lengthy and talented Mudiay. There’s a good shot he goes over 30 fantasy points in this game and he’ll be under 20% owned in tournaments.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Kelly Oubre Jr. - SF, PHO @ ATL ($7,200)

Oubre Jr. thrives in fast-paced games when then there’s a lot of peripherals up for grabs. The Hawks are a perfect match-up for his style, as they don’t have a premier rim-protector and struggle to rebound. Oubre Jr. is an energy guy that derives his upside from getting into space and making things happen. The Hawks will turn the ball over plenty and Oubre Jr. will be involved in nearly every fast break. His price isn’t high enough on FanDuel and I’m a big fan in all formats.

Draymond Green - PF, GS vs. DAL ($5,900)

Draymond is still too cheap on FanDuel and his minutes should come up in this game. The Mavericks are far from a scary defensive match-up and they’re actually a top-10 one for forwards with Porzingis out. Green is handling the ball as much as ever when on the floor and I’m a big fan in all formats at this price tag. It’ll only take 30 fantasy points to more than pay off.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Deandre Ayton - C, PHO @ ATL ($7,600)

I’m on another Phoenix Sun here at a C position that’s a bit weak tonight. There are a lot of options with upside, but no concrete lock for value. Ayton has been quiet, but consistent since returning from injury and suspension. Sitting over 40 fantasy points on most nights, I expect the big man to take advantage of the Hawks and reach around 50 here. The price is solid on FanDuel and I expect Ayton to continue flying under the radar at 15-20% ownership.
