FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (1/11/20): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Austyn Varney highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 1/11/20, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

Welcome to NBA Friday night. We have ten games on the board tonight with a ton of different options to pay up for. We're looking at Anthony Davis being questionable and a ton of other injuries to pay attention to. There is value to pay down for, but we have to get it perfect in tournaments if we wan to take down some serious cash.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 1/11/20. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks.

Give me a follow on Twitter @DFSVarney and say hello. Good luck RotoBallers, let's dive right in!

FanDuel DFS Guards

Damian Lillard - PG, POR vs. MIL ($8,500)

Damian Lillard is way too cheap on FanDuel and this match-up with Milwaukee is a phenomenal one. The Bucks play at the league's fastest pace and we all know Damian Lillard is a monster at home. The Bucks played just last night and I expect the Bucks to struggle in Portland. Lillard will be covered by Eric Bledsoe, who is a shell of a defender that he once was. The Bucks rank 25th in basketball against point guards and it'll be Lillard going crazy if the Blazers expect to stay in this game. C.J. McCollum will see Khris Middleton defense, which is another reason to like Lillard as he may see 25 shots here. There are a few expensive point guards to consider paying for, but Lillard is easily my favorite.

Josh Richardson - SG, PHI @ DAL ($6,100)

With Joel Embiid out, Josh Richardson sees his usage increase 6% and he has no issue taking on a bigger role. He's been over 33 FanDuel points in three of his last four games and now draws a match-up with a fast-paced Mavericks team that is worn down from being beaten up on just last night. Richardson is going to play 34 minutes and he'll match-up with the worse defender on the Mavs. Doncic will likely be on Simmons and it'll leave Delon Wright on J-Rich. Expect another 30+ FanDuel points and at $6,100, that's plenty.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

LeBron James - SF, LAL @ OKC ($10,900)

It's unlikely Anthony Davis plays tonight as he was ruled out for yesterday's game nearly five hours prior to tip. There's no reason to rush him back as this team showed last night they are very capable of winning without the big man. As we assumed, LeBron took over completely and his usage was up over 30%. He now gets to match-up with the Thunder and his best friend Chris Paul. Assuming AD is out, I love pairing LeBron with Paul as I can see them going back and forth a bit here. Not to get off-topic, but CP3 is playing better than he has in three years. Back to LBJ, he only played 32 minutes last night in the blowout and will be ready to go for 35 here if he must. I project him for 63 fantasy points, but this is a spot that he could go absolutely berserk and his price is still under $11k on FanDuel.

Jayson Tatum - PF, BOS vs. NO ($6,900)

There are quite a few Boston Celtics worth considering tonight, and Jayson Tatum is my favorite of the bunch. He'll likely match-up with Brandon Ingram and neither will be able to stop the other. Tatum excels in the open floor and the Celtics are going to see a few extra possessions against the speedy Pelicans. It's been a minute since Tatum had a big game, so it makes sense why his price has dipped under $7k. Let's hope his ownership stays under 20% tonight as this is the perfect match-up and the Pelicans will already be tired from last night.

Kent Bazemore - SF, POR vs. MIL ($3,900)

People are burnt out on Kent Bazemore and I expect him to come in pretty low-owned tonight. This is my favorite match-up of the month so far for the SF against a Bucks team that speeds it up and gives up a ton of peripherals. They also give up a boatload of corner threes and that's the Bazemore special. The price is dirt cheap on FanDuel and I'm a fan in all formats. People will look elsewhere for value and Bazemore should get over 20.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Dwight Howard - C, LAL @ OKC ($5,600)

This is a bit off the radar as I expect Dwight Howard to come in under 10% owned. The Lakers coaching staff was aware of the back to back last night and there was no reason to push Howard once he got into foul trouble. The game was never in question and Frank Vogel knew they'd need Howard the next night against a physical Steven Adams. I like Howard to get back around 25 minutes here and we know the damage he does when on the floor. Especially with Anthony Davis off the floor. Howard is my favorite C on the boards and I suspect we get him under 10%.
