FanDuel Lineup Picks (Week 10) - NFL DFS Advice

FanDuel NFL DFS lineup picks and start 'em, sit' em for Week 10. Daily fantasy football sleepers and lineups cheat sheet for FanDuel DFS GPPs and tournaments.

Welcome to RotoBaller's daily fantasy football FanDuel lineup picks for Week 10 of the NFL season. In this article I will be taking you through the best FanDuel DFS plays of the week for this upcoming Sunday.

These FanDuel lineup recommendations are based on matchups, recent performances, overall upside/talent levels, and other factors such as Vegas odds, home field advantage, and more.

Good luck with your FanDuel DFS lineups!

FanDuel Quarterbacks - Week 10 DFS Picks

Ryan Fitzpatrick (vs. NYJ, $6,100)

Ryan Fitzpatrick will be behind center for the Buccaneers this week and for the foreseeable future. The combination of price and matchup (plus a little narrative) make it difficult to pass in this spot despite the fact that Mike Evans won’t be on the field this week. The Jets are ranked 21st in pass DVOA and the price will allow spending up at other spots on the slate.

Matthew Stafford (vs. CLE, $8,200)

If you’re feeling a safer option than Fitzpatrick this week, Stafford is the quarterback to turn to. Stafford has been good lately, passing for multiple touchdowns in two of his past three games and over 300 yards in all three. He should be able to do each of those things against a hapless Browns pass defense that ranks 28th in pass DVOA for the season. The only risk for Stafford is that the Lions pull ahead quickly without those scores coming through the air, but with the ineptitude of their ground game that seems unlikely.

FanDuel Running Backs - Week 10 DFS Picks

Carlos Hyde (vs. NYG, $6,700)

Carlos Hyde hasn’t been anything special on the ground this season which is obviously not a great statement in reference to a running back. On the other hand, he has been very involved in the pass game which has kept his floor at a safe level. When the 49ers have lost by 10 points or less this season, Hyde has seen an average of 23 touches per game. The Giants are just as inept as the 49ers, if not more, so this should be a close game between two bad teams and allow Hyde to see a healthy dose of touches.

Bilal Powell (@TB, $6,000)

With Matt Forte officially out this week, we can look to Powell as a bargain running back that paves the way to Antonio Brown, LeVeon Bell, or Gronk. While the narrative has been that the Jets rushing attack has been an unreliable mess in terms of workload, the absence of Forte should open sufficient volume for Powell to take advantage of. The Bucs are far from tough on opposing running backs, allowing big games to Adrian Peterson, LeSean McCoy, and the Saints running back committee of late, opening up some more nice value at the running back position.

FanDuel Wide Receivers - Week 10 DFS Picks

A.J. Green (@TEN, $7,900)

A.J. Green has been a story this week, but not because of his play. He should be motivated to perform as a result and he’s in a decent spot to do so. Though Tennessee has shown improvement on defense, most of that improvement has come against opposing rushing attacks. If the Bengals are smart, that’s a big if, they will pepper A.J. Green with targets as has a six-inch height advantage over otherwise impressive rookie Adoree’ Jackson.

Marvin Jones (vs. CLE, $6,400)

Golden Tate has been a reliable option this season, but the price disparity between he and Marvin Jones on FanDuel doesn’t make much sense. Over the past three games, in which Matt Stafford has gotten on track, Jones has put up 18.6, 15.8, and 26.2 FD points respectively. In an A+ matchup there’s no reason to go away from Jones.

FanDuel Tight End - Week 10 DFS Pick

Rob Gronkowski (@DEN, $8,100)

Gronk is a relatively easy choice this week, assuming the ability or desire to pay up at the position. The Broncos still can’t cover opposing tight ends, as they have allowed 14.47 FD points per game to them on the season. Coming off of a bye week, the Patriots will be prepared to take advantage of that huge edge making Gronk worth the premium.

FanDuel Defense - Week 10 DFS Pick

Chicago Bears (vs. CIN, $4,300)

The Bears have been a respectable defense all season, especially at home, and the Packers offense has been non-existent since the loss of Aaron Rodgers. It comes as little surprise that they have an implied total of just 16.25 The Bears will be the chalk defense of the week, but at this price point there is good reason why.
