FanDuel, DraftKings MNF DFS Lineup Picks: Daily Fantasy Football for Week 6

Gage Bridgford highlights the top FanDuel NFL DFS lineup picks for Monday Night Football for Week 6 of the 2019 season, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building MNF daily fantasy rosters.

Monday Night Football is here, and the Green Bay Packers (4-1) are set to take on the Detroit Lions (2-1-1). We have an interesting matchup for daily fantasy. Both teams have defenses that can slow down any offensive unit when they're clicking.

On the contrary side, the offenses have a ton of weapons with quarterbacks that have engaged in their fair share of shootouts in their careers. In Lambeau Field, we could see the game easily clear it's 46 1/2 over/under mark.

Whether you're playing on FanDuel or on DraftKings, the slightest lineup constructions can make all the difference. Choosing one player over another is the difference between winning a little or a lot. So, let's look at how we're going to construct our lineups.

DFS Quarterbacks - Week 6 Picks

Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers - FanDuel $15,500 / DraftKings $11,600

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is without his top weapon in wide receiver Davante Adams (toe) for Monday night, but he's still one of the five best quarterbacks in the NFL. He has the arm talent to make any throw, and, against a Detroit Lions Defense that will give him time to throw, he can pick them apart. The thing we saw last week against the Dallas Cowboys was that Green Bay wanted to lean on the running game to make Rodgers' life easier. If he isn't your captain, one of the next players we talk about will be.

Matthew Stafford, Detroit Lions - FanDuel $15,000/ DraftKings $9,600

Luckily for Lions' quarterback Matthew Stafford, the majority of the team's injuries are on the defensive side of the ball. His offensive line is fully healthy, and he has his top three offensive weapons. The major key for him will be avoiding mistakes against an opportunistic Packers' defense. They get pressure on the quarterback, and they capitalize on errant throws, as evidenced by their seven interceptions. Stafford is third in aggressiveness rating among quarterbacks, and this secondary can make him pay for it.

DFS Running Backs - Week 6 Picks

Aaron Jones, Green Bay Packers - FanDuel $14,000/ DraftKings $11,400

Remember when I said that Rodgers was a near-lock to be your captain on Monday night? Running back Aaron Jones was the only player that would be the exception. Jones has eight touchdowns through five games, and he's increased his receiving ability. He's caught four or more passes in three out of five games, and Green Bay is going to lean on him against a Detroit defense that has struggled against the running game.

Kerryon Johnson, Detroit Lions - FanDuel $12,000/ DK $8,600

Lions running back Kerryon Johnson finally got things rolling in Week 4 against the Kansas City Chiefs. He averaged over 4.8 yards per carry, and he added two catches for 32 yards. However, he wasn't able to get into the end zone. In Week 6, he can keep that momentum going against a Packers Defense that ranks 32nd in yards per carry. If Detroit can get to an early lead, they'll lean on him throughout the night.

Jamaal Williams, Green Bay Packers - FanDuel $ 7,000/ DraftKings $5,200

Even with Jones lighting up Dallas in Week 5, he only played about 60 percent of the snaps. Running back Jamaal Williams gets on the field because of his pass-blocking ability combined with his skills in the screen game. You'd like to get him at a lower price point, but, if you're looking for a budget play to fill out your lineups, he should get between five to 10 touches on the night.

DFS Wide Receivers - Week 6 Picks

Kenny Golladay, Detroit Lions - FanDuel $12,500/ DraftKings $9,400

Wide receiver Kenny Golladay is the top receiving option in this game with Adams out, and his life is likely going to involve a lot of cornerbacks Jaire Alexander and Kevin King. Both have the physicality to knock Golladay off of his routes, but he sees enough volume to give himself fantasy upside. In each of the team's four games, he has seen at least eight targets. King and Alexander have each had their ups and downs this year, so, if they have a down game, he should feast.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Green Bay Packers - FanDuel $8,500/ DK $7,800

Packers wideout Marquez Valdes-Scantling has been somewhat inconsistent this year. However, on Monday night, he's going to have the chance to light Detroit up. He's second on the team in targets behind only Adams, and he's a big-play threat every time he comes off of the ball. He averages an impressive 13.8 yards per catch, and he dominates the team's downfield throws with 32.8 percent of the team's air yards. When Rodgers throws deep, he's throwing to MVS.

Marvin Jones, Detroit Lions - FanDuel $10,000/ DraftKings $6,800

If Golladay doesn't have a good game, Lions wide receiver Marvin Jones is the one that's going to see the targets. He catches 75 percent of the balls thrown in his direction, and that gives him a safe floor every week. Detroit throws the ball a lot, and Jones has taken advantage of the Packers in the past. If this game becomes a shootout, Jones should have a solid night.

DFS Tight Ends - Week 6 Picks

Jimmy Graham, Green Bay Packers - FanDuel $8,000/ DraftKings $7,000

Packers tight end Jimmy Graham hasn't been lighting up the league this season, but, in the past two weeks, with Adams out, he has seen some more work. He's seen 12 of his 19 targets in those two weeks, and he has a matchup advantage against the Lions this week. They have issues in their linebacking core, and that's where Graham can feast. He sees a few targets every week, and he normally sees at least one down in the red zone where he can use his size to his advantage.

T.J. Hockenson, Detroit Lions - FanDuel $8,000/ DraftKings $5,400

Lions tight end T.J. Hockenson (concussion) is questionable for this game, but, if he plays, he could do some damage against a beat-up Packers defense. They're already thin at inside linebacker, and rookie safety Darnell Savage (ankle) is out for this week. Hockenson has two touchdowns so far this season, and he'll be looking to add to his totals on Monday. This is a positive matchup for him, and, if the corners have Detroit's receivers locked up, Stafford could look his way often.

DFS Defenses - Week 6 Picks

Packers Defense - DraftKings $5,000

With the injuries that the Packers are dealing with up the middle, they could easily get gashed up the middle similar to how the Philadelphia Eagles dismantled them in Week 4. What they can do is get you points via sacks or interceptions. Stafford is risky with the ball, and they can make him pay for those mistakes.

Lions Defense - DraftKings $3,200

If you're playing the Lions' defense, it's likely because you ran out of salary. Detroit works less by creating sacks and turnovers, and they focus more on playing safe and doing the little things right. Having cornerback Darius Slay in their lineup will give them a better weapon in defending the pass, but Rodgers has been finding ways around players like Slay his entire career.
