FanDuel DFS – MLB Lineup Picks, Sleepers and Advice for 6/13/15

Jake Bogardus analyzes some MLB DFS lineup picks & sleepers for 6/13/15 on FanDuel fantasy baseball daily leagues. His DFS advice and value picks help you win on FanDuel.

Below are my FanDuel lineup picks for Saturday, June 13th. My goal with these DFS picks, as always, is to try to choose players who will outperform their expectations. These players can be high-cost players, or they can be sleepers, but we are always looking for players that have a chance to return the greatest value on FanDuel. Additionally, since the weekends generally have many afternoon and night games, I’ll make an effort to distribute my picks to cover all the timeslots going forward so that if you are playing an afternoon/night only league this article will still be useful.

Daily fantasy baseball leagues (DFS) are becoming the thing to do, and here at RotoBaller we are excited to help our users build their bankrolls. I’ll be covering FanDuel lineup picks, sleepers and general advice every Saturday and Sunday. I’ll also be putting my money where my mouth is by entering my final lineup (at the bottom of the article) into one of FanDuel’s many daily fantasy contests, so that RotoBaller users can compete against me.

Editor’s Note: If you play on FanDuel, you should also check out RotoBaller’s DFS Partner DraftKings – they’re hosting a one-day Fantasy Baseball league tonight. It’s FREE to enter and pays out $100,000 in cash prizes! Sign up Now and we’ll give you free access to RotoBaller’s Premium DFS Lineup Picks and Tools (a $29.99 value). You’ll also receive a 100% bonus on your first DraftKings deposit.

Last Saturday’s Review

Last Saturday we played the $30K MLB Squeeze.  Here is how we did:

Entry: $2

Winnings: $0

Saturdays For the Season: +$8.68

Pick Highlights: Not to defend my putrid lineup, but it was a weird slate last week with the games so equally divided among timeslots and no All Day big tourney option to play. The pitching calls, especially Price, were very good and the hitters I suggested did their job. Unfortunately I played a slate where those guys weren't available. My mistake. I'll be playing slates where the majority of my suggestions are available going forward.

Relationship Status: “Are we in a rut?”

DFS Starting Pitchers To Consider for FanDuel

Chris Archer (SP, TB) - $10,500

All I can say is if you don't start Archer you are making bad decisions. The Sox are one of the bottom three offenses in the league, and Archer strikes out seemingly everyone that steps to the plate. I honestly can't see more of a lock for double-digit K's tomorrow. He needs to be in all lineups, and I won't even suggest another option.

DFS Infielders To Consider for FanDuel

Prince Fielder (1B, TEX) - $3,600

Here is an affordable power option at first base who has been remarkably consistent this season. Fielder has a .346 AVG thus far while blasting 10 HR. He's at his hitter-friendly home today and has three career HR in 25 AB against opposing pitcher Mike Pelfrey.

J.J. Hardy (SS, BAL) - $2,200

Hardy is off to a slow start which makes him a bargain deal right now with power potential at shortstop. He traditionally crushes C.C. Sabathia to the tune of a .345 AVG in 29 career at-bats. As you'll see below, I am also suggesting Adam Jones today. I expect Baltimore to get to Sabathia early and often at home, and Hardy could be a big part of that.

DFS Outfielders To Consider for FanDuel

Adam Jones (OF, BAL) - $3,600

Jones has cooled off after his scorching start, but, as mentioned above, he is one of a few Orioles that hits opposing pitcher C.C. Sabathia very well. Jones has a .310 career mark with four homers in 58 career at-bats. Expect more of the same from Jones on Saturday.

Andre Ethier (OF, LAD) - $2,900

Ethier is another value play to pair with the high value pitcher that I'll be playing. Again, I'm playing the history here, and Ethier is hitting .359 with three long balls off of opposing pitcher Ian Kennedy. Normally I'd shy away from Petco Park hitters, but that park is playing differently this year supposedly due to wind patterns being changed because of the construction of a new building.

FanDuel Sleeper Value of the Day

Aaron Hill (2B, ARI) - $2,200

Today is all about history. Aaron Hill may be well past his prime, but he is triple slashing .455/.500/.758 in 33 at-bats against Ryan Vogelsong. Hill is the cheapest player on the board today and still qualifies at second base.

My DFS Lineup on FanDuel

Today I’ll be playing in ALL DAY 35K Salary game today. Remember to check your lineupsthroughout the day. You never want to get a goose egg for a guy that didn’t play.
