FanDuel Quarterback - Week 7 DFS Picks

Tom Brady (at PIT, $9,100)

Tom Brady has been on an absolute tear since returning from suspension. He has thrown for 782 yards and six touchdowns in only two games. They are large favorites again this week, which is worrisome, but they were also huge favorites in each of Brady’s first two games back. It seems as if the Patriots have no problems letting Brady throw late in games, as long as they are scoring touchdowns. He gets a great matchup against the Steelers, who have one of the worst defenses in the NFL this season, and Brady will be an easy player to fit into your lineup with the other cheap options on this slate.

Kirk Cousins (at DET, $7,300)

If y0u’re looking to save money at the quarterback position, Kirk Cousins is the man to play. He gets a great matchup against the Lions this week, a defense that allowed Case Keenum to throw for 321 yards and three touchdowns last week. Cousins is an extremely consistent option, and this game should quickly turn into a shootout. Cousins has attempted 40 or more passes in three of six games this season, and he’s an elite option in all leagues this week.

FanDuel Running Backs - Week 7 DFS Picks

DeMarco Murray (vs IND, $8,700)

DeMarco Murray is an interesting option this week. He’ll likely be low owned because he is slightly more expensive than Le’Veon Bell and David Johnson, but he gets a much better matchup than both of them. Murray will play the Indianapolis Colts, who have one of the worst defenses in the NFL this season. Murray has been a huge part of the Titans offense this season, as he’s averaging nearly 30 touches per game over his last three games. This game has one of the highest over/unders on the slate, and the Titans are favorites, which could lead to a few extra touches for Murray. He can be used in all leagues.

Mike Gillislee (at MIA, $5,300)

LeSean McCoy was recently injured during practice and he is going to miss this week. Mike Gillislee will take over the workhorse duties, and he has looked outstanding when given opportunities in his career. Last week, he ran for 61 yards and one touchdown on six carries in relief duty. He gets a good matchup against the Dolphins, who rank second last in the NFL against running backs this season, as well. The Bills have one of the best run blocking lines in the NFL, and Gillislee should be a staple in lineups for his price this week.

FanDuel Wide Receivers - Week 7 DFS Picks

Mike Evans (at SF, $8,000)

Mike Evans has been a target monster this season. He’s averaging a healthy 12.4 targets through his first five games. He has also seen double digit targets in each of his last four games, and he has been able to find the end zone in four of his first five starts. Vincent Jackson was recently injured, which could open a few more targets for Evans this week. The 49ers have had success stopping opponent’s passing attacks this season, but that has been because teams can run all over them. Evans will get a healthy amount of work this season, even if this game is a blowout. He doesn’t have as high of a price tag as some of the other elite receivers, and he’s a great option in all leagues.

Golden Tate (vs WAS, $6,600)

Golden Tate’s value will rely on the injury status of Theo Riddick. If Riddick is out, Tate will be a huge part of the offense again. After struggling in each of the first five weeks, Tate has eight receptions for 165 yards and one touchdown last week. He should be heavily targeted this week, as Josh Norman will likely shadow Marvin Jones in this game. Tate is a tough player to trust, but his upside in undeniable, and this game should feature a ton of points. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Tate lead the Lions in receiving again this week.

FanDuel Tight End - Week 7 DFS Picks

Hunter Henry (at ATL, $5,800)

Hunter Henry isn’t the starting tight end for the Chargers, but he is clearly a major part of their offense. Over his last four games, he has 18 receptions for 290 yards and three touchdowns. He gets a great matchup against the Falcons this week, and they have struggled against the tight end this season. People may be hesitant to use Henry because of the presence of Antonio Gates, but Henry has more than enough upside to be used this week.

FanDuel Defense - Week 7 DFS Picks

Minnesota Vikings D/ST (at PHI, $4,800)

The Vikings defense and special teams are always an elite play because of their ability to score touchdowns. They get a great matchup against the Eagles, who looked lost offensively last week without Lane Johnson. They weren’t able to score an offensive touchdown against the Redskins, who don’t have nearly as good of a defense as the Vikings. Washington was also able to sack Carson Wentz five times, and Minnesota should have no problems hitting the quarterback this week. They opened as small underdogs against the Eagles, but that quickly changed, and they can safely be used in all leagues this week.
