FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (4/23/18): NBA DFS Lineups

We have a small two game slate tonight, which makes lineup construction a bit more difficult. There are still a few players that are mispriced, allowing us to take advantage of that.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 4/23/18. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on DraftKings.

You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for sites like DraftKings. Find me in the Hoops Chat Room, then on Fortnite, then on Twitter @BalesSJustin. Come bother me with your takes.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Ricky Rubio - PG, vs OKC ($7,400)

Rubio is arguably the most underpriced player on the slate tonight. He has looked outstanding in this series, averaging 20.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, 8.0 assists, and 2.3 steals (48.0 fantasy points) in 34.0 minutes per game. He is coming off a triple double, and has only been getting better as the series progresses. He has been an elite option for quite some time when playing full minutes, and he should be the first player inserted into your lineups tonight.

Derrick Rose - PG, vs HOU ($3,800)

Rose is not the player he once was, but he can still score when on the court. He has scored 25 and 22.4 fantasy points in two of his three games this series. He was only able to score 10.7 fantasy points in the third game, which shows his risk. With that being said, he is expected to see over 20 minutes tonight, and we need to find value somewhere. Rose is the player to provide that value.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Paul George - SF, at UTA ($7,900)

George played like an elite player in the first game of this series, but he has somewhat struggled in his last two. Overall, he is averaging 25.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.0 block, and 1.0 steal (37.9 fantasy points) in 40.0 minutes per game. The key here is the minutes. George is a great player, and can score against anyone. He comes with tremendous upside when he is playing huge minutes, which will be the case tonight.

Derrick Favors - PF, vs OKC ($5,600)

Favors has seen inconsistent minutes for the majority of the season, but that has not been the case in the playoffs. He has played 30+ minutes in each of the games of this series, and that is expected to be the case again tonight. He flashed tremendous upside in the second game, posting a 20/16/3/1 line in 37 minutes of action. Favors is not necessarily the safest option on the slate, but he still comes with a relatively low price tag, making him a great play with only two games.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Rudy Gobert - C, vs OKC ($8,100)

Center is somewhat of an awful position outside of Gobert. He is the only "safe" option, but even he comes with some risk. He has seemingly figured out the Thunder team, scoring 40.4 and 47.5 fantasy points in his last two games. He's a near lock for a double double, and he could see upwards of 40 minutes again tonight. Other centers on this slate provide upside, but none are as safe as Gobert, who also comes with similar upside. He's far and away the best option.
