FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (11/16/16): NBA DFS Advice

Eleven games tonight? Amazing but not surprising, as NBA Wednesdays are the best. A large slate of games means more games to watch, more players to choose from, and less time spent worrying about ownership percentages (though you should still pay some attention to those percentage projections if you're playing in GPP contests).

These are my daily fantasy NBA lineup picks for FanDuel on 11/16/16. I try to only advise players I believe will outperform expectations and the players I advise are players in my lineup so if it all goes downhill, I'll be tumbling down right next to you. Let's get rolling…

Editor's Note: New users that sign up on FantasyAces, make a $20 deposit, and enter any game will receive our full season NBA (or NFL) Premium Pass for free (includes DFS Cheat Sheets). Just email [email protected] with your new FantasyAces username - and boom, that's it! We will email you with your Premium Pass.

FanDuel Stacking Opportunities

Before we get into the player breakdowns, I want to highlight three games with incredibly high over/under lines in Vegas. This games would be good to target if you're looking for stacking opportunities. Golden State at Toronto (220), Houston at Oklahoma City (217) and Phoenix at Denver (220.5). The positive thing about these games is that they all feature spreads of five points or less, meaning if the games play out close to what Vegas odds-makers are predicting, we should see tight battles - meaning lots of minutes for starters with their collective pedals on the gas.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Russell Westbrook - PG, vs HOU ($11,500)

From a DFS perspective, Westbrook hasn't been consistently outstanding this season, which is why his price has dropped $1,500 over the past 10 days. In the past four games, though? He's been worth every penny and then some. Russ seems to be hitting his stride and he can certainly be considered a bargain at this price. For the season, he's averaging 1.43 fantasy points per minute, which is the best of any player taking the court tonight. He also has a favorable matchup against a weak defensive backcourt in Houston, as this game should feature a lot of possessions.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope - SG, at NYK ($4,800)

I feel like I've been writing up KCP's name for a few weeks in a row now, and to be fair he hasn't been performing incredibly well, but he's definitely exceeding salary based expectations - and with ease. Over his last 10 games, Pope has exceeded his price implied value eight times, by an average of 5.96 FanDuel points per night. Tonight, he has a favorable matchup against the Knicks, who have allowed the third most fantasy points to opposing shooting guards per night of the 22 teams taking the floor.

Victor Oladipo - SG, vs HOU ($5,100)

Like his backcourt mate in Westbrook, Oladipo is a nice value tonight as well. He has struggled over his last three to hit value, but we've seen his price drop $1,900 over the past 10 days, and his struggle to hit value has had nothing to do with lack of opportunity. He has been getting his shots up, as told by field goal attempts of 16, 18, 9 and 17, respectively, over his last four games - it's just that they haven't been falling. He has a good matchup tonight against the Rockets, and with a minutes projection above 30 and a usage projection hovering around 22, he has a nice floor, as well.

Also Consider:  John Wall - PG, at PHI ($8,900) and Klay Thompson - SG, at TOR - $5,800

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Kawhi Leonard - SF, at SAC ($8,500)

Kawhi has the best usage rate (30) of any small forward tonight, and yes that includes King James. Leonard has really grown his offensive repertoire and it has helped him produce some stellar fantasy performances. The only times he has failed to hit and surpass his price implied value this season has been when shots aren't falling or he's been kept off the glass - both of those instances are a rarity. He's putting us 1.15 FanDuel points per minute and playing more than 35 minutes a night. The matchup against the Kings is a solid one, too, as the pace should lead to more possessions and opportunities for this Spurs offense.

Kevin Love - PF, at IND ($7,500)

What's Love done over the past few weeks? Oh, he's just exceeded value in his last seven straight - and by impressive margins, too. Love seems a lot more comfortable in the Cleveland offense this season, and he's produced because of it. For the year, he has a usage rate over 25 and a PER hovering around 22. Tonight, he has a good matchup against an Indiana team that has allowed the third most points to opposing power forwards of any of the 22 teams in action Wednesday night.

Also Consider: CJ Miles - SF, vs CLE ($4,600) and Paul Millsap - PF, vs MIL ($7,400)

FanDuel DFS Centers

Joel Embiid - C, vs WAS ($5,600)

Embiid has been playing fantastically and is such a steal at this price point. It's very rare to find players with his production and skill set under the $6k mark. The center has outperformed his price implied value in 60% of his games this season and he's done so by an impressive margin of 6.1 FanDuel points per night. He also owns a stellar 1.34 FanDuel points per minute and has been seeing somewhere in the range of 23-27 minutes a night. His usage rate of 36 is outstanding for center and he has a good matchup tonight against the Wizards.

Also Consider: DeMarcus Cousins - C, vs SAS ($9,600)
