FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (10/27/16): NBA DFS Advice

Jason Bales highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 10/27/16. Daily fantasy basketball lineups advice on the top value and sleeper plays.

What's up RotoBallers, welcome back. After that huge NBA action on Wednesday, it is time to cool down with a little four-game slate today. It is not impossible to find DFS value tonight on FanDuel, and I'm here to help with your lineups.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy NBA lineup picks for FanDuel on 10/27/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays on FanDuel.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Damian Lillard - PG, POR ($9,100)

Damian Lillard is the best guard option on the board tonight. He gets a tough matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers, as Chris Paul is one of the better defenders in the league, but Dame is out to show the world that he deserves to be in the All-Star game this season. Even better, he wants to win the MVP. That is not out of his reach. His price tag is slightly lower than Paul's, and his usage percentage is about three percent higher. Use him in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.

Dennis Schroder - PG, ATL ($6,500)

Dennis Schroder has been waiting for an opportunity like he has in Atlanta for his entire life. With the departure of Jeff Teague, he is free to handle the ball as much as he wants. His usage rate is expected to be around 28 percent, and he should see around 30 minutes on the court. Around 30 percent of fantasy owners will roster him, which makes him great for 50/50 contests. That number, however, is not high enough to eliminate him entirely from tournaments.

Terry Rozier - PG, BOS ($3,500)

Terry Rozier makes for an interesting play in tournaments. He should not be used in cash games, as he is just not consistent enough. However, his ceiling is around 30 fantasy points, and for his price tag, that is a very solid number to be at. He should play around 25 minutes, and he will be owned around 10-15 percent. The Chicago Bulls are not the team they used to be, and the Boston Celtics are going to make this into a game.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Kawhi Leonard - SF, SAS ($8,200)

Kawhi Leonard should be owned around 25-30 percent, and that is expected considering his price tag. He is too cheap. He dominated against the Golden State Warriors on Opening Night, and he is set to dominate tonight against the Sacramento Kings. The Kings are one of the worst defensive teams in the league, and the Spurs should take advantage. This could turn into a blowout, but Leonard should hit value in the third quarter, so it doesn't really matter.

Paul Millsap -PF, ATL ($8,000)

Paul Millsap is a great tournament option. He posted huge stat lines last season that had fantasy owners begging to figure out a way to fit him into their lineups. Tonight, he will be owned around 20-25 percent, and his usage rate should be around the same. He is going to play big minutes and with Dwight Howard by his side, he should see a lot of open shots. His rebounds are going to diminish, but his offensive production should be able to make up for it.

Jae Crowder - SF, BOS ($5,500)

Jae Crowder has a lot of upside. His ceiling is right around 40 fantasy points, and his price tag is low. That makes him a solid option in tournaments. The Chicago Bulls are not a powerhouse defense, and the Boston Celtics are going to score points. Crowder is effective when in the game, but he does not generally have the ball in his hands. He will have to rely on rebounding, blocking, and stealing to secure fantasy points, and that is risky. Do not use him in 50/50 contests.

FanDuel DFS Centers

DeMarcus Cousins - C, SAC ($9,800)

DeMarcus Cousins is too expensive for most fantasy owners. He is too cheap in reality. He struggled last night, but that is not likely to continue to happen. The San Antonio Spurs are solid defensively, but Pau Gasol is not going to be able to stop Boogie from scoring. He has a ceiling around 70 fantasy points, he is only going to be owned around 15 percent (if that), and his usage rate is the highest on the board. Use him in tournaments without hesitation.

Pau Gasol - C, SAS ($7,100)

Pau Gasol is going to be owned at around 15 percent, as well. He struggled, much more than Boogie did, in his first game of the season, but then again, he only played 18 minutes. He is going to get it going from the floor, as the San Antonio Spurs want him to fill into Tim Duncan's old role. He is quite capable. His ceiling is around 50, and his price tag is slightly lower than Cousin's, which makes them about equal. Cousins, however, is more likely to explode, so use him, if the money is there. Use Gasol, if the money is not.
