FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Lineup Picks (7/29/16): MLB DFS Advice

David Ortiz is a must play against Tim Lincecum. Who else should find their way into your lineup? Find out below... there are a few sneaky players heating up right now.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for FanDuel on 7/29/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on FanDuel.

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target for FanDuel

Boston Red Sox

The Boston Red Sox are officially the best offensive team in the league, and Tim Lincecum is not going to do anything to stop them from scoring runs tonight. Linecum is struggling right now, and the Red Sox are surging. Use them in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.

San Diego Padres

The San Diego Padres are surprisingly hitting the ball well right now, and the Cincinnati Reds have one of the worst pitching staffs in the league, so the Padres are a sneaky tournament stack. Brandon Finnegan has an ERA approaching five in the wrong direction.

Cleveland Indians

The Cleveland Indians have proved to be one of baseball's most elite offenses, so Kendall Graveman will definitely be tested tonight. He is finally starting to pitch better, which will have most fantasy owners avoiding the Indians, but he has not faced this kind of competition recently, and he will very likely struggle.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for FanDuel

Max Scherzer

Max Scherzer is one of the best pitchers in the league, and the San Francisco Giants, for whatever reason, are struggling right now. Scherzer should be able to take advantage of that and easily post over 20 fantasy points, striking out seven plus batters without too many problems.

Jose Quintana

Jose Quintana is one of the better pitchers in the league, and he gets a great matchup against the Minnesota Twins, who love to strikeout. He has great upside, and he is also very consistent. Use him in all formats.

DFS Infielders to Consider for FanDuel

Catcher (C) - Yadier Molina

Yadier Molina is finally starting to hit better for the St. Louis Cardinals this season with a batting average over .340 in his last 10 games. He can be used in tournaments, but look toward more consistent options in 50/50 contests.

First Base (1B) - David Ortiz

This is a no-brainer. David Ortiz is having a season to remember, and the Boston Red Sox are going to score early and often. Ortiz has double-dong potential, and even if he does not go yard, he could still hit value with RBIs and hits.

Second Base (2B) - Jose Altuve

Jose Altuve needs to be used in both 50/50 contests and tournaments tonight against the Detroit Tigers. He is hitting .500 over his last 10 games with three home runs and nine RBIs. There is absolutely no slowing him down right now. He is on pace to be the league's MVP without a doubt.

Shortstop (SS) - Francisco Lindor

Francisco Lindor is having a quiet season, but that does not mean he has not been productive. He is hitting over .300 in his last 10 games and on the season with 12 home runs and 50 RBIs. Kendall Graveman is going to struggle to keep runners out of scoring position, so Lindor has good upside and consistency tonight.

Third Base (3B) - Wilmer Flores

Wilmer Flores is starting again due to an injury to Jose Reyes, and he is worth consideration in tournaments. Two games ago, he looked great, and his upside is through the roof.

DFS Outfielders to Consider for FanDuel

Giancarlo Stanton

Giancarlo Stanton has been great since the All-Star break. He is hitting over .300 in his last 10 games with two home runs and eight RBIs. On the season, he has 22 home runs, and his upside is huge. Everyone knows that. Use him in tournaments and 50/50 contests tonight.

Alex Dickerson

Alex Dickerson is hitting the ball extremely well for the San Diego Padres right now. In fact, he is hitting over .300 in his last 10 games. His price tag is low, and he should be able to at least hit value. Use him in all formats.
