FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Lineup Picks (5/15/16): MLB DFS Advice

Jason Bales highlights the top daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for 5/15/16. These are the top value and sleeper plays for your FanDuel MLB DFS lineups.

It is Sunday, which means that MLB will start early!

Make sure to finish up that coffee and read up on the best value plays of the day.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for FanDuel on 5/15/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on FanDuel.

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target for FanDuel

New York Mets

The New York Mets continue to make for a great stack, even though they have been slightly disappointing in Colorado so far this series. The entire team is loaded with power, making them great for tournaments due to their home run potential. Tyler Chatwood has been great away from home, but in Colorado is another story.

Arizona Diamondbacks

The Arizona Diamondbacks make for a great stack tonight against Matt Cain and the San Francisco Giants. Cain has been horrible so far this season, and the Diamondbacks are just too cheap. Arizona is a hitter-friendly location, so the runs should come in bunches.

Toronto Blue Jays

The Toronto Blue Jays get a great matchup tonight against Cesar Ramos. He has an ERA over five, and the Blue Jays have a very explosive offense. They tend to lean toward tournament-style production, so avoid them in cash games due to their high price tags and low floors.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for FanDuel

Jon Lester

Jon Lester makes for a great option in 50/50 contests, as he is the most consistent pitching option on the board tonight. The Pittsburgh Pirates are a solid offense, but Lester's ERA is under two, and he should win the game. On FanDuel, the win is a big deal. Do not avoid him in cash games.

Matt Moore

In tournaments, Matt Moore makes a little bit more sense due to his upside. His price tag is low, which is great for stacking the Toronto Blue Jays or New York Mets. Moore has 43 strikeouts in 41 innings pitched, which is what makes him so valuable for fantasy purposes. His ERA is over four and a half, but he has huge potential against the Oakland Athletics tonight.

DFS Infielders to Consider for FanDuel

Catcher (C) - Jonathan Lucroy

Jonathan Lucroy is one of the better hitting catchers in the league, and he gets a great matchup tonight against the San Diego Padres. He is cheaper than some of the other power-hitting options on the board, and he is a lot more consistent. He is hitting over .300 on the season, and yesterday, he hit a home run. Use him in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.

First Base (1B) - Lucas Duda

Lucas Duda is too cheap over at FanDuel. He has huge upside, especially in Coors Field. Duda is a power-hitting first baseman with a ton of home run potential. His price tag is middle of the road right now, so take advantage of that. He has a great chance to take Chatwood deep.

Second Base (2B) - Starlin Castro

The second base position is a tough one on FanDuel for tonight's slate, but Starlin Castro makes for a solid option in both 50/50 contests and tournaments. His batting average is approaching .300, and he posted over 25 fantasy points three games ago. He has 15 plus fantasy points in two of his last five games, which shows his upside. He also gets a boost hitting in New York.

Shortstop (SS) - Aledmys Diaz

Aledmys Diaz is one of the hottest hitters in the major leagues right now. He is hitting over .375 with six home runs and 19 RBIs. There is really no reason to avoid him in 50/50 contests or tournaments based on his current price tag. It doesn't hurt that he gets a great matchup against Alex Wood either.

Third Base (3B) - Jake Lamb

Jake Lamb has huge upside for a third baseman, and his price tag is down right now. Matt Cain is going to surrender multiple runs tonight in Arizona, and Lamb could definitely be a part of the Diamondbacks' run production. He has a ton of power, and he can be used in tournaments.

DFS Outfielders to Consider for FanDuel

Yoenis Cespedes

Yoenis Cespedes is hitting in Coors Field tonight. He has ridiculous power outside of Colorado, so this will only increase his potential upside. Use him in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.

Jackie Bradley Jr.

Jackie Bradley Jr. is absolutely on fire right now. He gets a solid matchup against the Houston Astros tonight, and he should be able to take advantage. He has double-digit fantasy points in six of his last 10 games. Do not avoid him.

Melky Cabrera

Melky Cabrera gets a boost because he is hitting in New York tonight. He has over 10 fantasy points in two of his last four games, and his batting average is right under .300. He can be used in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.
