FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Lineup Picks (10/19/16): MLB DFS Advice

Max Petrie highlights the top daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for 10/19/16. These are the top value and sleeper plays for your FanDuel MLB DFS lineups

Welcome to our Wednesday edition of FanDuel picks for the Championship Series. We can thank the Blue Jays for these contests, as there would have been no games today with an Indians sweep. Can the Blue Jays get this series back to Cleveland? Can the Cubs regain home field advantage? Let's find out who will be the big players in tonight's contests.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for FanDuel on 10/19/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on FanDuel.

Editor's Note: New users that sign up on Fantasy Aces, make a $20 deposit, and enter any game will receive our full season NFL (or NBA) Premium Pass for free, a $59.99 value. Just email [email protected] with your new FantasyAces username - and boom, that's it! We will email you with your Premium pass.

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target for FanDuel

Los Angeles Dodgers versus John Lackey

Everyone is going to target the Blue Jays and the unknown Ryan Merritt. so let's pivot to the top priced pitcher. Lackey had a 4.37 ERA on the road in 2016 and lasted only four innings in Game 4 at San Francisco, allowing three runs in a game the Cubs won. The Dodgers .756 OPS versus RHP is the best in the postseason and they will have plenty of motivation to secure a 3-1 series lead and hope to finish the series in LA.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for FanDuel

Marco Estrada (SP, TOR) $7,900

Estrada serves as the de facto ace for Toronto and he looked the part in Game 1, limiting the Indians to two runs in eight innings of a game the Blue Jays lost 2-0. Estrada has a career 2.59 ERA in 41.2 career postseason innings and is a heavy favorite as the Blue Jays hope to make it a 3-2 series.

Julio Urias (SP, LAD) $7,400

Urias has come a long way since Spring Training. The 20-year old didn't expect to crack the 25-man roster this year until the Dodgers became decimated by injuries. Now Urias will become the 4th-youngest pitcher to start a postseason game and the youngest to start a Championship Series game. Urias was excellent to finish 2016, compiling a 1.93 ERA in three September starts. The Cubs .456 OPS versus LHP this postseason is awful. Urias will likely have a short leash, but his strikeout potential gives him a safe enough floor to deploy in all formats.

DFS Infielders to Consider for FanDuel

Yasmani Grandal (C, LAD) $2,600

Grandal's bat came to life in Game 3 on a two-run home run to give the Dodgers a 3-0. He was previously hitting .105 with no RBI this postseason. Grandal owns a .999 OPS at Dodger Stadium, so it's safe to say he is happy this series is back in LA.

Edwin Encarnacion (1B, TOR) $4,300

Encarnacion is not ready for the postseason to end. He is hitting .323 with a 1.045 OPS this postseason, including two RBI in yesterdays 5-1 win. EE has a .943 OPS at Rogers Centre and a .902 OPS versus LHP. Look for him to take advantage of the rookie Merritt in his first postseason appearance.

Ben Zobrist (2B, CHC) $3,000

Zobrist has been quiet the last two games, but don't let that fool you. He owns a .301 average versus LHP and has averaged 9.8 FanDuel points in the previous four games.

Javier Baez (SS, CHC) $2,900

It's difficult to go wrong at shortstop in this Championship Series, but Baez remains the most enticing play. His previous six games (FanDuel points): 21.7, 9.2, 9.2, 9.7, 24.7, 3. He owns a home run versus Julio Urias in four at-bats. He's a safe play in all formats.

Justin Turner (3B, LAD) $3,400

Turner has been a steady contributor for the Dodgers this postseason, hitting .333 with a 1.105 and batted third in every contest. He also had a home run in Game 3 to push the lead to 4-0. He has two hits in three at-bats versus Lackey and will look continue his hot hitting tonight.

DFS Outfielders to Consider for FanDuel

Coco Crisp (OF, CLE) $2,700

A quick glance at Cocoa Crispies .167 postseason average may scare some owners off, but keep digging. He has posting outings of 22.2, 0, 12, and 6.2 FanDuel points over his past four games. He also owns a home run versus Marco Estrada and should be a low-ownership tourney play.

Joc Pederson (OF, LAD) $3,000

Pederson continues to contribute to the Dodgers lineup, positing at least six FanDuel points in six straight games. He already has a steal to his name in the series and is a solid HR/SB threat to target while other owners grab Dexter Fowler.

Josh Reddick (OF, LAD) $2,600

Reddick's bat is starting to wake up, along with his legs. He stole second on a clean play and then third on a ball in the dirt, but his aggressiveness is appreciated by owners alike. Reddick hit .341/.408/.547 versus RHP this season and is way underpriced on this slate.
