NBA DFS: Top Daily Fantasy Picks for DraftKings, FanDuel including Jalen Williams (2/11/24)

Jayson Tatum - NBA DFS Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball, NBA Injury News

Free expert daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for today's slate on DraftKings and FanDuel. Use John's NBA DFS expert picks to building winning DFS lineups on February 11, 2024.

It's a Sunday in the NBA and we have a small two-game slate to break down with it being Super Bowl Sunday. I hope you all had a fantastic start to 2024, and let's head forward with a massive win and get our bankrolls prepared for the long haul.

We have just one team on a back-to-back on tonight's slate: the Oklahoma City Thunder. Let's see how that affects some of our lineups and how we want to attack this slate.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 2/11/23. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome new NBA injuries report tool, as the slate can completely change before lineups lock at 2:00 PM EST on FanDuel and DraftKings.

Today's NBA DFS Core Plays

While the Celtics are projected to be in a "pace-down" spot, Jaylen Brown is in a pretty good matchup here. The Celtics are excellent offensively, ranking second in offensive efficiency. Miami ranks 12th in defensive efficiency (111.7) but is projected to regress down to 116.93. Boston ranks first in small forward efficiency, whereas Oklahoma City ranks in the bottom half of the league at 18th.

Doubling up on the small forward position as I'll take a look at Jalen Williams as a core play here as well. Oklahoma City projects a boost in pace and offensive efficiency while taking on a Kings team that ranks in the bottom third against both small forwards and power forwards. Williams projects to a 23.22% usage rate also, the second-most among all OKC players tonight.

Top Core Plays:

  1. Jaylen Brown, BOS vs. MIA  – SF/SG ($7,800 DK; $8,300 FD)
  2. Jalen Williams, OKC vs. SAC – SF/SG ($6,900 DK; $7,600 FD)

Today's NBA DFS Value Plays

There aren't a ton of value plays on this slate to be truthful, so we'll have to dig deep into the bag to get an edge today. I'll be doing that with Cason Wallace, the pseudo-sixth man for the Thunder. Wallace doesn't see much usage, and projects to just a 12.35% usage rate here. He's cheap enough on both sites to justify this, and Oklahoma City has the strongest matchup in terms of offense on this slate.

Not so much a value play, as Malik Monk comes closer to the "mid-tier" price-wise. Nevertheless, I'll snag Monk up as he should play north of 25 minutes off the Kings' bench. Monk projects to a 24.91% usage rate, which comes in second on the Kings today. While Sacramento projects to regress in terms of point guard efficiency, my model projects the Kings' bench to step up today. Malik Monk will lead that charge and I'll back him here.

Top Value Plays:

  1. Cason Wallace, OKC vs. SAC - SG/PG ($3,300 DK; $4,200 FD)
  2. Malik Monk, SAC vs. OKC - SG/PG ($5,700 DK; $6,700 FD)

Today's NBA DFS Lineup Picks: Point Guard

If it seems as though it's becoming a trend, I'm looking at the Thunder and Kings matchup today. With that said, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has to be the top point guard option on this slate. SGA has propelled the Thunder offense to rank first in point guard efficiency. He draws a strong matchup against the aforementioned Kings, who rank 21st in defensive efficiency against the point guard position.

Top PG Options:

  1. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander vs. SAC ($10,200 DK;

Today's NBA DFS Lineup Picks: Shooting Guard

I'll run back Cason Wallace here. I mean, I'll have to stock up on Thunder and Kings here given the slate's circumstances. Shooting guard is the "value spot" on this slate, as Malik Monk is a solid option here as well if you're generating multiple lineups, but I won't go too much further beyond those two.

Top SG Options:

  1. Malik Monk vs. OKC ($5,700 DK; $6,700 FD)
  2. Cason Wallace vs. SAC ($3,300 DK; $4,200 FD)

Today's NBA DFS Lineup Picks: Small Forward

As mentioned earlier in my core plays, it has to be Jaylen Brown and Jalen Williams at the small forward position. They're in such a good spot and is probably my favorite play on the slate in terms of cash value.

Top SF Options:

  1. Jaylen Brown vs. MIA ($8,400 DK; $8,600 FD)
  2. Jayson Tatum vs. MIA ($9,400 DK; $10,100 FD)

Today's NBA DFS Lineup Picks: Power Forward

It has to be Jayson Tatum here. There's not a great correlation between him and Jaylen Brown, and I'll be pairing them in just 50% of lineups if I'm playing at least one of them.

Top PF Options:

  1. Jayson Tatum vs. MIA ($9,400 DK; $10,100 FD)
  2. Domantas Sabonis vs. OKC ($9,900 DK; $10,500 FD) -- FD ONLY

Today's NBA DFS Lineup Picks: Center

There aren't any centers in "prime" matchups, but I'll have a go at Domantas Sabonis here. Particularly with the Thunder going on a back-to-back this afternoon, we can expect some tired legs on OKC's side. This hasn't deterred me from playing them on this slate, but I'll take advantage of it on the other side of things as well. This makes Sabonis the clear top option on the slate at the center position if you have the salary for him.

Top C Options:

  1. Domantas Sabonis vs. OKC ($9,900 DK; $10,500 FD)

Today's Top NBA DFS Game Stacks

  1. Thunder @ Kings (240.5 total)
  2. Celtics @ Heat (226 total)

Today's Top NBA DFS Avoids

  1. There isn't much to fade on this slate given there are only two games, but I'll opt for the latter of the two games.

My Favorite NBA DFS Lineup Picks for Today

Here is where I leave you with some of my favorites.

  • My favorite overall play on the slate: Jaylen Brown
  • My favorite CASH play on the slate: Jalen Williams
  • My favorite GPP play on the slate: Malik Monk
  • My favorite value play: Cason Wallace
