Happy Match Day 21, RotoBallers! The semifinals of Euro 2024 are here. We've got Spain vs. France tonight and then Netherlands-England tomorrow. Spain has been the most impressive side of the tournament, but France has kept it tight and snuck by each of its two elimination games.
France is the first team to make it to the semi-finals of a Euro without scoring an open-play goal. Remarkably, a team with Kylian Mbappe, Antoine Greizmann, and Theo Hernandez has relied on its stalwart defense to get this far. However, Spain is strong from back to front and will depend on Nico Williams and Alvaro Morata to unlock Les Bleus.

DraftKings and FanDuel Captain - EURO DFS Picks
Kylian Mbappe - $16.5K DraftKings; $15 FanDuel
Opponent - Spain
Despite a subpar tournament by his out-of-this-world standards, Kylian Mbappe remains the smartest and safest choice for Captaincy in your DFS lineups. The soon-to-be Real Madrid forward has five shots in each knockout game, showing the type of ceiling he has in the group stage. Against Poland, the 25-year-old scored a penalty with six shots, five shots on goal, and three crosses for a whopping 25 DraftKings points. France has yet to show an attacking flair at this tournament, but Mbappe's ceiling is too hard to ignore in cash and tournament formats.

Ousmane Dembele - $8.4K DK; $9 FD
Opponent - Spain
Zero goals and zero assists at Euro 2024 for Ousmane Dembele make him a curious choice for our DFS lineups. However, the player is involved in so much of what Les Bleus does on the pitch that he's a sneaky shout for captaincy if you are brave enough to go against Mbappe. The Paris St. Germain forward has linked up with Mbappe several times for club and country but has yet to do it in Germany. However, it's not for lack of trying, as the 27-year-old has 15 crosses and 12 shots assisted in the two knockout games for France. Unfortunately, he does have a knack for getting taken off early in games, so he's more of a tournament player on Tuesday.
Dani Olmo - $9.2K DK; $12 FD
Opponent - France
While Kylian Mbappe and most of the French squad haven't found their shooting boots in Germany, the same cannot be said for Dani Olmo. The Spanish attacker is flourishing in the same country where he plays club football and excelling under the Euro spotlight. In his last three games, Olmo has two goals and two assists, averaging 23.1 DraftKings PPG, and should be a lock for Spain's starting lineup, given his current form.

Jules Kounde - $6.0K DK; $10 FD
Opponent - Spain
DraftKings doesn't reward defenders in the same way that FanDuel likes to, and it makes Jule Kounde an excellent play on FanDuel. His 22.13 FanDuel PPG mark is third-highest among all players on the slate. The 25-year-old has created 11 chances in the last four games and has at least four clearances in three of his five appearances. He's not the most enticing option on DraftKings, but he could provide some much-needed salary relief, considering his lower price tag.
