Euro 2024 DFS: DraftKings Daily Fantasy Soccer Picks (6/17/2024) - Today's Top Lineups

Soccer - Euro 2024, DFS Preview

Euro 2024 Soccer DFS lineup picks for DraftKings for 6/17/24 on Matchday 4. These are the top daily fantasy soccer forwards, midfielders, defenders, and goalkeepers.

Happy Matchday 4, RotoBallers! After an onslaught of goals to open the first multiple match slate, England and others failed to match expectations yesterday. However, things should turn around quickly with tournament favorites, France making their 2024 debut against Austria and Belgium opening against Slovakia.

It's Group D and Group E in action today, and all six teams will look to get their UEFA Euro 2024 campaigns off to flying starts.

The DraftKings Euro 2024 DFS Soccer contests lock at 9:00 a.m. EDT for the 6/17/24 slate. Make sure to get your lineups in early. Also, don't forget to check out the rest of our Euro 2024 coverage on RotoBaller with team and match previews, along with our betting and DFS advice. If you have any further questions or want to chat about the Euro, feel free to reach out to me on X, @df_solutions.

Euro 2024 Matchday 4

Vegas Odds for the Day

DraftKings DFS Goalkeepers

Horatiu Moldovan - DK $4.2K || FD $9

Opponent - Ukraine

This match could truly go either way. Between the two countries, they have only played three matches with Ukraine winning twice and drawing the other match. Furthermore, they have outscored Romania by just two goals. The only issue is that the matches between the two countries are averaging 3.0 Goals Per 90, making saves necessary to maintain value. However, as the third least-expensive netminder on the slate, Moldovan is a salary saver with the potential to break the slate.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Casteels (DK $5.8K || FD $13), Maignan (DK $5.7K || FD $12)

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Antoine Griezmann - DK $8.2K || FD $21

Opponent - Austria

Similar to Christian Eriksen of Denmark – 35+ percent across contests yesterday – Antoine Griezmann will be a popular option for this slate. As a set piece taker, registered as a forward on the biggest favorite of the slate, it is expected that Griezmann will need to be rostered to have a chance at shipping contests. The attacking midfielder in 18 appearances and 17 starts for France – two World Cups and one Euro, he has five goals, five assists, 35 shots, 42 created chances, 80 crosses, 49 corners, and 31 tackles with the bulk of his created chances and crosses coming from his last World Cup. As favorites for another international bout, Griezmann and France are expected to score plenty of goals.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Lukaku (DK $10.8K || FD $20), Giroud (DK $7.4K || FD $18)

DraftKings DFS Midfielders

Kevin De Bruyne - DK $9.8K || FD $21

Opponent - Slovakia

While Griezmann will have similar ownership numbers to Christian Eriksen, Kevin De Bruyne is as close as they come to Christian Eriksen, from both an ownership standpoint and a player standpoint. De Bruyne is Belgium’s heartbeat and engine for all facets of the game and he plays an identical style to that of Christian Eriksen, albeit, the former is younger.

In 13 appearances and 12 starts for Belgium – two World Cups and one Euro – De Bruyne has two goals, four assists, 25 shots, 46 created chances, 58 crosses, 38 corners, and 16 tackles. He is also coming off a shortened English Premier League season due to injury where he made 18 appearances and 15 starts, yet he still produced four goals and ten assists. With Slovakia up first, followed by Romania and Ukraine, De Bruyne and the Red Devils are expected to sweep Group E.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Tsyhankov (DK $6.8K || FD $15), Hagi (DK $5.6K || FD $14)

DraftKings DFS Defenders

Maxim De Cuyper - DK $3.8K || FD $7

Opponent - Slovakia

To finish the slate we have another potential 30+ ownership player in centerback/fullback hybrid, Maxim De Cuyper. The Club Brugge defender is coming off a successful season in his first season with Brugge in the Belgium Pro League. In 27 appearances and 24 starts, he had two goals and seven assists. He thrived in the attack, landing in the 90th percentile of defenders or better in, Non-Penalty Expected Goals, Assists, and Shot Creating Actions. He was also in the 70th percentile in both Interceptions and Blocks. Projected to start at left back against Slovakia, De Cuyper has the potential to be the highest-owned player on the slate and the top-value player on the slate.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Hernandez (DK $6K || FD $14), Bancu (DK $4.7K || FD $10)

Set Pieces:

  • Romania: Man/Stanciu/Bancu
  • Ukraine: Tsyhankov/Zinchenko
  • Belgium: De Bruyne
  • Slovakia: Haraslin/Suslov/Duda
  • Austria: Alaba/Sabitzer/Baumgartner
  • France: Griezmann/Hernandez
