EURO 2020 DFS Lineup Picks for FanDuel (6/19/21) - EURO 2020 Soccer

RotoBaller soccer expert Vince Dray breaks down the EURO 2020 DFS slate for FanDuel on 6/19/21.

Hello, RotoBallers! The Euro 2020 tournament continues with another three game slate Saturday. These are the last teams playing their second game of the tournament, and the final rounds of the group stage will begin Sunday. A handful of teams will have already advanced through to the next round before playing their third game, but there will still be a ton of spots up for grabs. I have a full breakdown for you covering this slate. Keep reading this breakdown for my DFS soccer picks on RotoBaller and see how to have success on Saturday's slate.

The large majority of my DFS content will be covering the EURO 2020 tournament until the EPL returns in August, however, there is always more soccer DFS to cover. If you want to chop it up with myself and other RotoBaller writers about non-EPL/UCL leagues or other sports, consider becoming a premium member and joining our ever-growing community of DFS and fantasy sports enthusiasts! We have had some great conversations in the Premium Slack chat about the past few UCL slates.

You can also get access to my brain for questions and edits to lineups for Saturday. In this article, I will be providing you with my EURO 2020 daily fantasy soccer lineup picks for FanDuel on 6/19/21 for the slate that locks at 9:00 am ET. Be sure to also check out our other DFS lineup picks for other active sports. You can always find me on Twitter @vdray5 if you have any questions. Good luck, RotoBallers!

UCL DFS Lineup Picks - Overview

France vs Hungary

France (-315) got their three points from Germany after a Mats Hummels own goal, and are now ginormous favorites in this game. Hungary played fairly well in their first game until late in the game where Portugal turned it on and won 3-0. With a win, France will be in prime position to advance, and I expect them to come out on their A game. The goal total over/under is 2.5.

Germany vs Portugal

Portugal are coming off an important 3-0 win in their first game on the back of a Cristiano Ronaldo brace. Germany was unfortunate to lose their first game due to a defender's own goal and are not in trouble facing a confident Portugal team. If Germany (+125) can't find a way to get points here, they will have a massive uphill climb to advance out of the group. This should be a firecracker of a match Saturday with huge implications on the tournament. The goal total over/under is the lowest on this particular slate at 2, 2.5.

Poland vs Spain

Neither team is likely happy with the result of their first game. Poland lost 2-1 to the Czech Republic after controlling the majority of the game. Spain, meanwhile, dominated 86% of the game and fired off 17 shots but were held scoreless by Sweden. Many people thought these two teams would advance from the group, and now both coming into this game desperate for a victory. Spain (-280) are huge favorites, but you can't count Poland out if Spain is unable to finish their opportunities like their first game. The goal total over/under is a slate-high 2.5, 3 with the over at even money.

FanDuel DFS Forwards / Midfielders

France are the biggest favorites on the slate and are in position to give themselves a great shot at winning the group on Saturday. Kylian Mbappe ($23) was unable to break through Germany's defense in game one, but he has a more favorable matchup this game against Hungary. The Hungarians were stout defensively against Portugal for a while but ended up allowing three goals. His +110 anytime scoring odds are the best in this game. I like Antoine Griezmann ($19) as a secondary France attacker in a stack or as a standalone play.

For Spain's sake, Gerard Moreno ($19) needs to be getting a start in this game. Spain struggled to finish their chances in their first game against Sweden. Spain will likely control a good amount of the possession in this game as they take on a disappointing Poland side. Moreno has strong goal upside in this game at +130 and is one of the top plays on the slate.

I like the price tag and matchup for Koke ($10) on this slate. He can collect all of the different defensive peripherals playing in this midfield position and has fair attacking upside. Spain should again control possession which allows him to get involved more. His odds to assist a goal are +400, and he can score a goal now and then as well.

From a pure floor/ceiling combo standpoint, both Bruno Fernandes ($18) and Diogo Jota ($17) are good plays. Neither had great games against Hungary, but they were both somewhat productive fantasy-wise. They each get enough meaningful peripheral stats to not kill your lineup, and they are +500 and +350 to score, respectively.

Ilkay Gundogan ($11) is another value attacker I will be looking at on this slate. His upside is too high for this price.

FanDuel DFS Defenders

Jordi Alba ($14) is my top pay-up option at defender on this slate. He created four chances against Sweden - and with Spain likely controlling the game again - he has that kind of upside Saturday. Poland is going to miss the presence of Grzegorz Krychowiak, their defensive midfielder, in this game which makes me want some additional exposure to Spain.

Raphael Varane ($13) put on a defensive clinic in France's opening game against Germany. He should be in for another strong fantasy game especially with another clean sheet bonus probable in this game.

I'm going to go back to Attila Fiola ($6) as a value play here. He was able to collect five clearances against Portugal but had no other defensive stats - which is rare. I would bet that he can get several clearances again, but that he'll rack up some additional interceptions, tackles, or block and outscore his first game. For a few more dollars, though, you can get Endre Botka ($8) who should offer a little more safety.

Nelson Semedo ($11) has carried over his good play this EPL season into the Euros. He has strong defensive stats and a decent ability to create chances. He's one of the best mid-tier options here.

FanDuel DFS Goalkeepers

Hugo Lloris ($14) looks primed for another win/clean sheet combination that should result in him posting his second consecutive 20+ point game. He's a good play if you can afford him.

Unai Simon ($12) and Manuel Neuer ($10) are the two other GKs I am considering on this slate.

Thanks for reading my EPL DFS lineup picks breakdown on RotoBaller and good luck!
