EPL DFS Lineup Picks for FanDuel (10/25/20) - English Premier League Soccer

Vince's FanDuel EPL DFS lineup picks for English Premier League soccer on 10/25/20. His top daily fantasy soccer forwards, midfielders, defenders, goalkeepers.

Welcome back, RotoBallers! Matchday 6 continues Sunday, and I have another full breakdown for you all. Games remain more spread out than they have been in the past, which leaves us with some smaller slates where games all kickoff at different times. Sunday's main slate is three games, but you can get up early for the all-day slate if you want a fourth game available. Let's take a look at the main EPL slate this Sunday. Keep reading this breakdown for my DFS soccer picks on RotoBaller and see how to have success on Sunday's slate.

The very large majority of my DFS content will be EPL-related, however, there is more soccer than just what is being played in England. If you want to chop it up with myself and other RotoBaller writers about non-EPL leagues or other sports, consider becoming a premium member and joining our ever-growing community of DFS and fantasy sports enthusiasts! In this article, I will be providing you with my English Premier League daily fantasy soccer lineup picks for FanDuel on 10/25/20 for the slate that locks at 9:00 am ET. Be sure to also check out our other DFS lineup picks for other active sports. You can always find me on Twitter @vdray5 if you have any questions. Good luck, RotoBallers!

EPL DFS Lineup Picks - Overview

Everton vs Southampton

Continuing with the theme of the weekend, we have another game with a 0.0 spread. This is a little bit of an odd line to me. Everton (+150 on the money line) sit atop the table right now, and they have been great to begin the season with four wins and a draw to Liverpool. They are playing on the road and Southampton is in good form, however, Everton should be favored in this game. Everton lead the league in goals scored this year and they have players in form all over their lineup. Getting some Everton exposure is a good strategy even with the goal total over/under only at 2.5,3.

Newcastle vs Wolverhampton

Wolverhampton (-0.5,1) take the title of largest favorite on the slate. They host Newcastle who are coming off a 4-1 beatdown by Manchester United. Neither side have been scoring many goals this year, and both teams are solid defensively which likely led to the slate-low over/under of 2,2.5. There will not be much of an emphasis on this game in my breakdown aside from a one-off or two.

Leicester City vs Arsenal

Arsenal (-0.5) are slightly favored at home against Leicester on Sunday. With two good and well-known teams, this will be a popular game for people to target on this slate. Neither team is in particularly great form with one win in their last three league games, but Arsenal has the edge at home. There are going to be good plays from this game all over the pitch and from various price ranges. Vegas odds reveal that they think this game will be the highest-scoring with over 2.5,3 at -110 compared to +100 in the early game.

FanDuel DFS Forwards / Midfielders

For leading the league in goals last year and already having five this year, Jamie Vardy ($19) is underpriced. He also has a great scoring record against Arsenal with 10 goals in 11 games at a rate of one goal every 74 minutes. He is a great way to add upside to any DFS lineup on Sunday. Youri Tielemans ($13) is a great Leicester stack piece to pair with Vardy.

Raul Jimenez ($22) is another one top play. He's very expensive, however, that price is warranted for him in this matchup. Newcastle had one of the worst away defenses last year, and they just conceded four times to Manchester United last weekend. Wolves are the slate's largest favorite, and Jimenez & Co. will enjoy a nice home matchup here. There is multiple-goal upside for him in this game. Daniel Podence ($16) is an affordable way to get more exposure to Wolverhampton's attack in this plus matchup.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin ($21) is the last top-tier attacker in my player pool on Sunday. He has been scoring at an elite rate to begin the season with seven goals in the league. He has scored in all five of Everton's league games to date. Richarlison ($18) will not be on the pitch Sunday while he serves his suspension for last week's red card which could open up even more opportunities for DCL. An away matchup is not ideal, but Southampton's defense has already allowed 3+ goals twice this year (to Chelsea and Tottenham). James Rodriguez ($17) has been brilliant for Everton this year. He is averaging 3.0 chances created per game and has three goals and three assists as well. He and DCL are a top-tier stack, and they can both be played alone as well.

For value on Sunday, Leander Dendoncker ($8) is one way to go. He has a good home matchup where he should be able to get enough peripherals to score into the double digits. He is averaging 14.6 FDP in his starts which is as good as you'll find for this price.

FanDuel DFS Defenders

The pay-up options for attacking defenders on this slate is poor. Lucas Digne ($15) has the most upside, however, this is a high price to pay for him especially on the road.

After Digne, I'm heading all the way down to Maximilian Kilman ($12). His first two starts for Wolves have been great with 20+ points in both. He's collecting all defensive stats, and he even creates some chances. There is no reason to believe he cannot keep producing those numbers.

Wesley Fofana ($11) was good fantasy-wise in his first Leicester start last weekend. He was forced into action due to some injuries, but scored 19.5 fantasy points. This is a good matchup for him away to Arsenal for defensive peripherals.

Kyle Walker-Peters ($11) and Emil Krafth ($10) are both affordable defenders who have been steady with defensive action this season. Jamaal Lascelles ($7) is also in play for that cheap.

FanDuel DFS Goalkeepers

Rui Patricio ($14) is a strong GK play. Wolves are solid favorites at home giving Patricio a good shot at a win bonus. Their defense has been stingy so far this year too with seven goals allowed in five games. He faces a low-scoring Newcastle side that will likely struggle on the road here which should get him a clean sheet bonus as well.

Of the other GK options on Sunday, none really stand out. Jordan Pickford ($11) looks like a decent bet for a win bonus, but playing on the road is far from ideal. Southampton has the ability to score so this does not seem like a day to rely on a clean sheet from him. If you're fading Leicester, Bernd Leno ($13) is a good option. He has allowed the second-least goals in the league so far, and Leicester have struggled to score on the road in the past. Leno is also making several saves every game and Arsenal is the favored side at home which boosts his floor.

Thanks for reading my EPL DFS lineup picks breakdown on RotoBaller and good luck!
