EPL DFS Goalies

Robin Roefs - DK $3.8K || FD $8

Opponent - at Liverpool FC

Robin Roefs is the optimal play at the goalie position today and in general for the midweek matches. The young goalie is turning heads in the English Premier League. In his most recent five domestic starts, he has made 20 saves and conceded seven goals.

In Sunderland’s last five domestic fixtures, they are the worst in Shots Against Per 90 and the ninth-worst in Goals Against Per 90.

At the other end of the pitch is Liverpool, who are struggling in their last five domestic fixtures. They are the fourth-worst in Goals Per 90 and in the top-ten in Shots Per 90. Robin Roefs has the lowest salary on the slate, making him a candidate for the top value play of the slate at any position.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Matz Sels (DK $5K || FD $11) at Nottingham Forest
  • Emiliano Martínez (DK $4.5K || FD $10) at Brighton & Hove Albion

EPL DFS Forwards

Jean-Philippe Mateta - DK $8.3K || FD $21

Opponent - at Burnley FC

Two goals in his last five domestic matches and an optimal matchup today. Jean-Philipp Mateta has caught the attention of the masses this season. In those five outings, he has also produced nine shots, two chances created, one cross, two tackles, one interception, and seven clearances.

In a Per 90 Against viewpoint, Burnley is the worst in Goals and a bottom-five club in Shots, Chances Created, In-the-Box Goals, and Penalty Area Defense. Mateta will have numerous opportunities to add to his goal count here.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Omari Hutchinson (DK $9.7K || FD $13) at Wolverhampton FC
  • João Pedro (DK $6.6K || FD $20) at Leeds United

EPL DFS Midfielders

Yéremy Pino - DK $6K || FD $16

Opponent - at Burnley FC

A goal has been scored, and a weight has been lifted. Yéremy Pino finally scored his first English Premier League goal in the 2-0 win at Molineux Stadium two weeks ago. Throughout his last five domestic fixtures, he has produced one goal, six shots, nine chances created, 20 crosses, 11 corners, five tackles, one interception, and two clearances.

As noted above, Burnley FC has been among the worst defensively over the last five English Premier League matchweeks. Considering Pino’s role on set pieces and the optimal matchup, he is expected to exceed value.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Bukayo Saka (DK $10.5K || FD $23) vs. Brentford FC
  • Elliot Anderson (DK $8.1K || FD $20) at Wolverhampton FC

EPL DFS Defenders

Defenders

Maxim De Cuyper - DK $5.4K || FD $12

Opponent - vs. Aston Villa FC

Things look to be turning for the better for Maxim De Cuyper. After a poor start to the season, he was demoted to a bench role but looked miles improved in the 2-0 win at City Ground at the weekend. He produced one goal, one shot, four chances created, four crosses, two corners, one tackle, two interceptions, and one block.

Aston Villa will not be an easy matchup, however, it is more De Cuyper’s role for the Seagulls that makes him worthwhile. Brighton & Hove Albion are projected to run a 4-2-3-1 formation with De Cuyper at left wing. He would instantly become one of the highest-owned players at any position on the slate. Slotting into a more advanced position with his role on set pieces returning, sets up De Cuyper for a ceiling performance.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Neco Williams (DK $6K || FD $14) at Wolverhampton FC
  • Maxence Lacroix (DK $3.3K || FD $14) at Burnley FC

Corner Takers

  • Arsenal FC: Bukayo Saka/Declan Rice
  • Brentford FC: Mikkel Damsgaard
  • Brighton & Hove Albion: Maxim De Cuyper
  • Aston Villa FC: John McGinn/Matty Cash
  • Burnley FC: Josh Cullen/Jaidon Anthony/Quilindschy Hartman
  • Crystal Palace FC: Yéremy Pino
  • Wolverhampton FC: Jhon Arias
  • Nottingham Forest: Elliot Anderson
  • Leeds United: Anton Stach/Ao Tanaka
  • Chelsea FC: Cole Palmer/Estêvão
  • Liverpool FC: Dominik Szoboszlai/Cody Gakpo
  • Sunderland AFC: Enzo Le Fée/Granit Xhaka
