EPL DFS Lineup Picks for DraftKings And FanDuel (4/5/25) - English Premier League Soccer Matchweek 31

Brandon's DraftKings and FanDuel EPL DFS lineup picks for English Premier League Soccer on 4/5/25 (Matchweek 31). His top daily fantasy soccer forwards, midfielders, defenders, goalkeepers.

Welcome back to “The Kick-Off,” and welcome to the 2024-2025 season! Fixture congestion is here to stay! Rotation will continue to be a factor until fixtures start spreading out again. Let’s kick off Matchweek 31!

The top favorite for this week is Crystal Palace +140 vs. Brighton & Hove Albion +190. I will guide you through this three-match slate starting at 10:00 A.M. EST on Saturday, April 5.

If you have any questions on today's slate, bankroll management, GPP strategy, Cash game strategy, or anything else, don’t hesitate to contact me at [email protected], via X @df_solutions, or in our Discord chat rooms.

EPL DFS Goalies

Alphonse Areola - DK $4K || FD $9

Opponent - at AFC Bournemouth

Alphonse Areola continues to surprise the masses with his outstanding performances. In his last five domestic starts, the keeper has made 12 saves, conceded three goals, and recorded two clean sheets. He also walks into a prime matchup at home against AFC Bournemouth. In their respective last five domestic fixtures, the Cherries are a top-three club in Shots Per 90 and a bottom-four club in Goals Per 90.

Furthermore, in West Ham’s last five domestic fixtures, they are a bottom-three club in Shots Against Per 90 and a top-four club in Goals Against Per 90. The metrics don’t lie. This matchup may be one of the best goalie-versus-opposition matchups in quite some time. Areola is expected to reach double-digit fantasy points.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • José Sá (DK $5.2K || FD $10) at Ipswich Town FC
  • Dean Henderson (DK $5K || FD $11) vs. Brighton & Hove Albion

EPL DFS Forwards

Jørgen Strand Larsen - DK $4.8K || FD $20

Opponent - at Ipswich Town FC

Speaking of prime matchups, Jørgen Strand Larsen is on a heater, scoring three goals in his last five matches in all competitions. In that window, he also produced six shots, four chances created, one cross, eight clearances, and two blocks.

Ipswich Town FC, in their last five domestic fixtures, are a bottom-five club and, more specifically, the second-worst in Penatly Area Defense. Wolverhampton runs a 3-4-2-1 formation and will be consistently feeding Larsen from the flanks. Can he extend his goal streak to three matches?

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Jarrod Bowen (DK $9K || FD $22) vs. AFC Bournemouth
  • Evanilson (DK $7.4K || FD $19) at West Ham United

EPL DFS Midfielders

Jean-Ricner Bellegarde - DK $6.2K || FD $14

Opponent - at Ipswich Town FC

Jean-Ricner Bellegarde is the next ‘safest’ set piece taker for his respective club. Despite his teammate Rayan Aït-Nouri taking over set pieces for the Wolves, Bellegarde can take over at any time. The midfielder has three assists, six shots, six chances created, 10 crosses, 10 tackles, and two clearances over his last five appearances in all competitions.

As mentioned above, the hosts struggle defensively and are the fifth-worst in Shots Assisted Per 90. Bellegarde is expected to see plenty of opportunities in this meeting.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Eberechi Eze (DK $10.8K || FD $20) vs. Brighton & Hove Albion
  • Alex Scott (DK $6.9K || FD $12) at West Ham United

EPL DFS Defenders

Rayan Aït-Nouri - DK $5.7K || FD $14

Opponent - at Ipswich Town FC

The final member of the pack is Rayan Aït-Nouri. The fullback is making back-to-back appearances in the article. On Tuesday, he produced three chances created, two crosses, three tackles, one interception, and one clearance. Throughout his last five outings in all competitions, he has five shots, five chances created, 11 crosses, three corners, 21 tackles, five interceptions, nine clearances, and three blocks.

Ipswich Town FC is the third-worst on the slate in Crosses Against Per 90. Considering Aït-Nouri is projected to play in his typical left-midfielder role, the attacking wingback is projected to reach double-digit fantasy points.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Daniel Muñoz (DK $6.6K || FD $15) vs. Brighton & Hove Albion
  • Emerson Emerson (DK $4.1K || FD $11) vs. AFC Bournemouth

Corner Takers

  • Crystal Palace: Eberechi Eze
  • Brighton & Hove Albion: Pervis Estupiñán
  • Ipswich Town FC: Leif Davis
  • Wolverhampton: Jean-Ricner Bellegarde/Rayan Aït-Nouri
  • West Ham United: James Ward-Prowse
  • AFC Bournemouth: Lewis Cook/Alex Scott

Thanks for reading The Kick-Off. Good luck in all of your contests today!
