EPL DFS Goalies

Alisson Becker - DK $5.9K || FD $14

Opponent - vs. Southampton

Searching for value at the goalie position is a non-optimal risk this weekend. Each potential value goalie is an underdog on the road against in-form clubs. This leaves fantasy users paying up for the ‘safe’ win in ‘CASH’ contests.

Look no further than Alisson Becker, more commonly known as Alisson. The Brazilian goalie is coming off his best performance of the season, making nine saves and producing one clean sheet in a 1-0 road win at Parc des Princes in the Champions League. In his last five fixtures in all competitions, he has produced 19 saves, conceded three goals, and recorded three clean sheets. The only concern is the lack of shots from Southampton per 90. Alisson must make saves when required; otherwise, any chance of him reaching his ‘value’ will be gone.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Bart Verbruggen (DK $5.2K || FD $12) vs. Fulham FC
  • Alex Palmer (DK $3.9K || FD $7) at Crystal Palace

EPL DFS Forwards

Yankuba Minteh - DK $8.1K || FD $18

Opponent - vs. Fulham FC

Finding a floor at the forward position is slim, leaving Yankubah Minteh of Brighton & Hove Albion. The winger has slowly taken the leading role on set pieces for the Seagulls but continues to share it. Over his most recent five appearances in all competitions, he has three goals, one assist, eight shots, eight chances created, 14 crosses, eight corners, 19 tackles, four interceptions, and 15 clearances.

Over the season, Fulham FC has been pushing the boundaries as a top club defensively. However, lately, they have been inconsistent. Two weeks ago, the visitors were dismantled by Eberechi Eze in a 2-0 loss at home, and Minteh plays a similar role along the same side of the pitch. At $8.1K on DraftKings, the forward is expected to reach value.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Mohamed Salah (DK $9.4K || FD $25) vs. Southampton
  • Ismaila Sarr (DK $7K || FD $18) vs. Ipswich Town FC

EPL DFS Midfielders

Eberechi Eze - DK $9K || FD $20

Opponent - vs. Ipswich Town FC

It is no secret that Crystal Palace is gaining steam. It is also no secret that their midfield catalyst, Eberechi Eze, is the key player to their success. Eze now has one assist, 14 shots, nine chances created, 18 crosses, 11 corners, six tackles, one interception, and two clearances.

Ipswich Town FC is the third-worst defensive club in Per 90 metrics against. Specifically, they are the third-worst in both Penalty Area Defense and Big Chances Created Against. Eze has the potential to record the most fantasy points on the slate.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Curtis Jones (DK $8.2K || FD $12) vs. Southampton
  • Andreas Pereira (DK $7.1K || FD $14) at Brighton & Hove Albion

EPL DFS Defenders

Trent Alexander-Arnold - DK $6.7K || FD $15

Opponent - vs. Southampton

Like teammate Alisson Becker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, or TAA, will be coming into this meeting with Southampton with his head held high after a big road win against Paris Saint-Germain. However, the fullback had another lackluster performance. He produced one cross, three tackles, one interception, and three clearances. He has one goal, three shots, four chances created, four crosses, 13 tackles, four interceptions, and 13 clearances throughout his last five fixtures in all competitions.

Luckily, he and Liverpool FC are hosting Southampton. The visitors have the worst defense in the league, in a Per 90 viewpoint. Despite Alexander-Arnold’s salary being far from ideal, his potential floor and ceiling are the most optimal on the slate at the defender position.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Daniel Munoz (DK $6.6K || FD $16) vs. Ipswich Town FC
  • Adam Webster (DK $3.6K || FD $9) vs. Fulham FC

Corner Takers

  • Brighton & Hove Albion: Yankuba Minteh/Pervis Estupinan
  • Fulham FC: Andreas Pereira
  • Crystal Palace: Eberechi Eze
  • Ipswich Town FC: Leif Davis
  • Liverpool FC: Trent Alexander-Arnold/Andrew Robertson
  • Southampton: Mateus Fernandes

Thanks for reading The Kick-Off. Good luck in all of your contests today!
