DraftStreet Deals - MLB Lineups Advice for Daily Fantasy Baseball - July 30, 2013

MLB daily lineups and expert picks for Fanduel, DraftStreet and daily fantasy baseball leagues. Read our daily analysis and win your Fanduel and DraftStreet daily leagues!

One of the best ways to succeed in your daily salary cap league over at DraftStreet is by discovering the best bargains for a given day. A couple of typical guidelines when attempting this feat is to look at batter/pitcher match-ups and righty/lefty splits. The thought process for today's picks is easily noticeable. Here are three right handed batters that are a good bet to deliver nice production against the southpaw starters they are facing. Since pitchers are still part of the game, we will also take a look at the best buy on the bump for July 30, 2013.

  • Josh Donaldson 20130625Josh Donaldson OAK-3B ($6,003) - Oakland's breakout star is currently mired in a six-game slump, during which he has delivered just one hit in 20 at bats. This recent performance has driven down the third baseman's price tag dramatically, especially compared to his peers at that hot corner. In Oakland tonight, veteran Mark Buehrle will take the mound for the Blue Jays. The two have never faced each other, but with that said, Donaldson seems to have a great chance of breaking out of his funk. He has posted an incredible 1.019 OPS versus left-handed pitching so far this season.
  • Jeff Francoeur SF-OF ($3,535) - At one time a first-round draft pick of the Atlanta Braves, the much-maligned Francoeur is stuck in the middle of his worst season to date. After his release from Kansas City on July 5, the Giants decided to take give him a chance. Starting in left field over the last week, he has yet to really get anything going at the plate. Look for that to change against John Lannan and the Phillies. "Frenchy" has hammered the soft tosser to the tune of a .536/.581/.857 line, including six doubles and a homer over 28 AB.
  • Paul Konerko CWS-1B ($5,433) - The Indians' Scott Kazmir is in the middle of an incredible comeback story this season. Paul Konerko, in his 17th MLB season, is on the backside of an illustrious career. However, the edge in this evening's faceoff has to go to the six-time All-Star slugger. The White Sox first baseman is 11-for-24 all time against Cleveland's 29 -year-old lefty, with a couple of home runs for good measure.
  • Brandon Workman BOS-SP ($7,844) - The Red Sox rookie will be making just his fourth big league appearance tonight. His first outing came on July 10 at Seattle. Coming out of the bullpen with Boston already enjoying a 9-1 lead, he gave up three earned runs over just two innings. Since that debut, Workman has posted a 2.91 ERA and 0.97 WHIP over back-to-back quality starts versus Oakland and Tampa Bay. Taking on a lesser lineup, the young right-hander should have a good shot at picking up victory number one tonight in a rematch with the Mariners.

==================

As always, remember to check your MLB daily lineups before they lock and make sure you are doing your own research, too, for optimal performance! The most successful daily leaguers are grinders who are constantly tweaking their lineups as the day goes on and fantasy news gets released. Good luck today, RotoBallers!
