We're ending the weekend with a four-game NBA Summer League slate on DraftKings. This article will be breaking down the 6:30 p.m. EDT slate.

The Summer League allows young players to shine and raise their stock within their team rosters. It's an opportunity for some players to showcase their talent and potentially earn a roster spot for the regular season.

This article will highlight some DraftKings NBA Summer League daily fantasy options to consider for the four-game main slate that tips off at 6:30 p.m. EDT on Sunday, July 21, 2024. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome NBA injuries report tool.

DraftKings Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Reed Sheppard, SG – HOU ($9.2K)

Reed Sheppard comes into the Sunday slate with a very steep price tag and one that can scare people off him. However, Sheppard has the skills and upside to pay off his tag. He is averaging 20 points, 5.3 assists, and 4.8 rebounds while snagging two steals per game through four games. The Houston guard has been playing strong on the defensive side also. He has recorded 11 steals and five blocks. While his price tag can scare people off him, his ownership may come in low enough to be worth the shot throwing him into multiple lineups.

Jacob Gilyard, PG - BKN ($5.4K)

Jacob Gilyard has played pretty well in the Summer League besides one down game against the Los Angeles Clippers. Gilyard can provide salary relief but also help round out your lineups with decent scoring. In two of his three games, he recorded 29.3 and 32 DK points while taking minimal shots. The most field-goal attempts he has taken this summer has been eight and in that same game, he went 4-of-8 from the three-point line. With him averaging 26.2 DK points per game, Gilyard is worth playing.

Isaiah Collier, PG - UTA ($6.8K)

Isaiah Collier continues to showcase his talents this summer and it has had some of his ups and downs. Collier is averaging 11.8 points, 4.5 assists, and 3.5 rebounds with 2.5 steals per game through four. He has had some struggles with maintaining the basketball as he has had a total of 17 turnovers already. If he can continue his play from the last game versus the Los Angeles Clippers, Collier provides some solid upside with a price tag right in the middle.

Also Consider: Daniss Jenkins ($4.9K), AJ Griffin ($6.5K), Javon Freeman-Liberty ($5.7K)

DraftKings Forwards/Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Jalen Wilson, SF - BKN ($8.6K)

Jalen Wilson is coming off a strong game against the Orlando Magic where he recorded 50.5 DK points. He had a double-double night with 33 points and 10 rebounds while adding on one assist. Wilson is averaging 23.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, and one assist through four games in the Summer League. His price tag may be pushing it as he is only averaging 33.7 DK points per game. This could make him another low-owned play that we will want exposure to.

Taylor Hendricks, PF - UTA ($7.8K)

The Utah Jazz have a small stack that I want to target and Taylor Hendricks will be one of the players. Hendricks has had an up-and-down Summer League, but he can easily pay off his tag. He has recorded two games that showed positive signs for the forward, 29.5 DK points versus Dallas and 38.3 DK points versus Toronto. He has brought defensive stats with him as he has a total of eight blocks and two steals through the four games.

Kyle Filipowski, C - UTA ($6.4K)

The center position for tonight isn't the most appealing, but Kyle Filipowski stands out. He will be facing off against the Dallas Mavericks for a second time. In the first meeting, he recorded 22.5 DK points in 20 minutes, recording 10 points, six rebounds, and two assists with one block and no turnovers. The Utah big man is averaging 27.3 DK points per game while averaging 14 points, 5.8 rebounds, and two assists. He comes in at a good price point and can help in the effort of paying up for Reed Sheppard.

Also Consider: Branden Carlson ($5.2K), James Banks III ($4.4K), Tolu Smith III ($5.8K)
