DraftKings NBA Summer League Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (7/17/24): Today's Top NBA DFS Lineups

The top DraftKings NBA Summer League Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks to consider on July 17, 2024. Shaun provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

The NBA Summer League continues today in Vegas and DraftKings has four separate slates to dive into. However, I'll be focusing on the 7:00 p.m. slate when it comes to this article.

The Summer League allows players to shine and up their stock within their team rosters. It won't be surprising to see some players showcase their talent while other players will make splashes in households to put themselves on the map.

This article will highlight some DraftKings NBA Summer League daily fantasy options to consider for the four-game main slate that tips off at 7:00 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome NBA injuries report tool.

DraftKings Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Scotty Pippen Jr., PG/SG – MEM ($8,600)

Scotty Pippen Jr. comes in as the second-highest-priced guard on today's main slate, being priced at $8,600. Pippen has recorded two strong games for the Memphis Grizzlies so far in the Summer League, recording 35.3 DK points in the first game versus Sacramento and 41.0 DK points versus Dallas. He has yet to break 30 minutes of playing time but has made the most of his opportunities.

He's averaging 17.5 points, 5.5 assists, and 2.5 rebounds with five steals per game. He will be the top pay-up spot tonight but for good reason and his consistency of play so far.

Michael Devoe, PG/SG - PHX ($5,100)

Michael Devoe comes in at a wonderful price tonight sitting at $5,100 for the Phoenix Suns. He wasted no time versus the Golden State Warriors on Saturday as he recorded 33.5 DK points in 27 minutes, averaging 1.24 fantasy points per minute. He went 4-of-7 from the field while recording a good amount of points from the free-throw line, going 11-of-13.

Devoe made sure to be a part of all of the action, though, as he added four rebounds, four assists, and two steals.

Devoe is coming off of a strong game versus the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday in a 98-94 loss. He recorded 10 points, five rebounds, and five assists while adding two blocks and one steal on the defensive end. At a $5,100 price tag, he comes at a discount with a nice ceiling.

Cam Spencer, PG/SG - MEM ($6,900)

Cam Spencer is a cheaper option if you aren't paying up for Scotty Pippen Jr. tonight. Spencer did eclipse 30 minutes versus Sacramento but did have his minutes drop versus Dallas as turnovers were a major focal point in that game. He is averaging 25.2 minutes per game with 13 points, 3.0 assists, and 1.5 rebounds. Both guards aren't turnover machines and provide upside for more positive points than having to deal with the turnovers taking points away.

Also Consider: Ajay Mitchell ($7,700), Adam Flagler ($6,800), Dexter Dennis ($5,300)

DraftKings Forwards/Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Zaccharie Risacher, SF - ATL ($8,300)

Zaccharie Risacher is an interesting target tonight and he has the minutes to back him. Through two games, Risacher has averaged 29.5 minutes while recording 30.3 DK points versus Washington and 22.3 DK points versus San Antonio. His scoring is what can hinder his upside as he has been consistent with rebounds and assists, recording five rebounds and two assists in both games. He feels like he has the green light also from the three-point line as he has shot 16 three-pointers and has only made four.

David Roddy, SF/PF - PHX ($7,800)

David Roddy is at a price point where having high exposure to him may not be needed, but for single entries, he's a good fit. He was close to a double-double versus Golden State in a 90-73 loss. Roddy recorded 12 points and seven rebounds with one assist and two blocks.

Roddy could provide upside as Phoenix has tried him out in the guard position, which could open up more opportunities to fill his stat sheet. His defensive skill set can also be something to target with two blocks already in the first game, so Roddy could make a decent impact all around. As a third-year player, he'll need to show his game can be taken to a higher level.

Jay Huff, C - ORL ($6,100)

Jay Huff has already been showing off what he is capable of already through two Summer League matches. Huff is averaging 14.5 points, six rebounds, and one block per game. He recorded 28.5 DK points in 23 minutes versus Cleveland (a dominating 106-79 victory) and 26 DK points in 25 minutes versus New Orleans.

He is averaging 1.13 DK points per minute through the first two games. The big man has yet to show any downside to his game and has been a force on both ends of the court for the Magic. He makes for an affordable center option on DraftKings tonight and one that can surely pay off his price tag.

Also Consider: Oso Ighodaro ($6,000), Miles Norris ($4,000), Jarrett Culver ($6,500)
