DraftKings NBA DFS Picks for Today (Tuesday, 3/4/25): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Anthony Edwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks, Fantasy Basketball Rankings

Max Kulish's top DraftKings NBA DFS picks for today, Tuesday, 3/4/25. His favorite daily fantasy basketball lineup sleepers and value picks for DraftKings DFS.

Welcome back, RotoBallers! Tonight we have a seven-game slate, headlined by Warriors at Knicks on TNT. These articles focus on the best plays, typically more suited for cash games. However, some exceptions may apply, depending on the size of the slate.

The key to succeeding in NBA DFS is making adjustments during the day as injury information becomes available. But it's always essential to have a game plan and zero in on the best players and spots before making those adjustments. To keep up with all the latest developments and get access to updated projections, grab an NBA season pass and access our RotoBaller Premium Discord, where @chiefjustice6 is talking about the slate up until lineups lock!

This article will provide my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/4/25. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our excellent NBA injuries report tool, as the slate can completely change before lineups lock at 7:00 p.m. EST on DraftKings. Good luck, RotoBallers!

DraftKings NBA DFS Core Picks

Giannis Antetokounmpo, MIL - PF/C ($11K)

Giannis may be the most expensive player on the slate, but as only one of two players priced at $10k or greater, there's plenty of money to go around. Tonight, he gets an absolute smash matchup against the Hawks, who allowed 130 points last night. Giannis has torched the Hawks twice this year (30+ points and 10+ rebounds both times), and historically (29.3/12.5/6 in his last 10 games against the Hawks). It also appears Milwaukee will be down Kyle Kuzma, which only helps Giannis.

Anthony Edwards, MIN - SG ($9.3K)

Edwards has been one of the most consistent fantasy assets this season. He's posted 40+ fantasy points in 14 straight games (not including his ejection against the Lakers a few days ago). Edwards is second in the NBA in both 3s attempted and made, and few players in the league see the kind of volume he does.

Others Under Consideration: Trae Young, ATL - PG ($10K), Stephon Castle, SAS - PG/SG ($6.1K), Damian Lillard, MIL - PG ($9K)

DraftKings NBA DFS Tournament Pivots

Stephen Curry, GS - PG ($9.4K)

Curry has continued to tear it up since the arrival of Jimmy Butler. You can see his stats over that span in the tweet below, and what really stands out is that he leads the league in scoring over that span. By now, we all know that no one can get hot from 3 like Steph does, and when he does, he usually breaks the slate.

Jarrett Allen, CLE - C ($6.2K)

With Evan Mobley sidelined for the Cavs and the Bulls missing starting center Nikola Vucevic, Allen should be able to dominate the boards. Allen's biggest fantasy knock is that he's not much of a scorer, but in a game with an implied total of 245, there should be plenty of points to go around.

Others Under Consideration: Jalen Brunson, NYK - PG ($8.8K), Josh Hart, NYK - SF/PF ($7.7K), Donovan Mitchell, CLE - PG/SG ($8.7K)

DraftKings NBA DFS Value Picks

Andre Drummond, PHI - C ($5K)

Drummond has been playing well over the last three games since joining the starting lineup, highlighted by his best game of the season last night against the Trail Blazers (25 points & 18 rebounds, 55 total fantasy points).

Drummond figures to start again tonight, considering the Timberwolves will likely start both Julius Randle and Naz Reid. Since the 76ers played last night, DraftKings didn't adjust his price for last night's performance, and this is a good opportunity to play Drummond before his salary balloons. It's also worth noting that Philly may be without Tyrese Maxey and Paul George tonight, which would open up more cheap options.

Jamal Shead, TOR - PG ($3.6K)

With Gradey Dick ruled out for this rematch, it will be either Shead or Ja'Kobe Walter moving into the Raptors' starting lineup. My best guess would be that it's Shead since he filled for Immanuel Quickley when Quickley was hurt. Walter consistently plays higher minute totals but doesn't do much with them. I would ultimately recommend whoever starts, but I would prefer it to be Shead.

Others Under Consideration: Taurean Prince, MIL - SG ($4.2K), Keldon Johnson, SAS - SF/PF ($4.6K), De'Andre Hunter, CLE - SF/PF ($5.4K)

Today's Top NBA DFS Game Stacks

Bucks at Hawks (242.5 O/U)

The Hawks have allowed 130+ points in five of their last seven games, while Milwaukee has scored 120+ in three of their previous four games. The Hawks are second in pace, and the Bucks are 10th, which should lead to plenty of offense. Due to injuries, good, cheap plays are available on both teams, making this game easy to stack in multiple ways.

Cavaliers at Bulls (245 O/U)

Another game between two of the top 10 teams in pace (Bulls third, Cavs sixth), this one boasts the highest implied total on the slate. The only real concern I have about this game is the Cavaliers being 12-point favorites. Should this game turn into a blowout, it would cause key players on both sides to sit. The total is too high to ignore, but fully stacking this game feels like it'll either pay off hugely or completely flop.

My Favorite NBA DFS Picks for Today

Here is where I leave you with some of my favorites.

  • My favorite OVERALL play on the slate: Anthony Edwards
  • My favorite CASH play on the slate: Giannis Antetokounmpo
  • My favorite GPP play on the slate: Steph Curry
  • My favorite VALUE play: Andre Drummond
