DraftKings NBA DFS Picks for Today (Tuesday, 3/11/25): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

James Harden - NBA DFS Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball Rankings, Injury News

Max Kulish's top DraftKings NBA DFS picks for today, Tuesday, 3/11/25. His favorite daily fantasy basketball lineup sleepers and value picks for DraftKings DFS.

Welcome back, RotoBallers! Tonight we have a seven-game slate, headlined by Bucks at Pacers on TNT. These articles focus on the best plays, typically more suited for cash games. However, some exceptions may apply, depending on the size of the slate.

The key to succeeding in NBA DFS is making adjustments during the day as injury information becomes available. But it's always essential to have a game plan and zero in on the best players and spots before making those adjustments. To keep up with all the latest developments and get access to updated projections, grab an NBA season pass and access our RotoBaller Premium Discord, where @chiefjustice6 is talking about the slate up until lineups lock!

This article will provide my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/11/25. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our excellent NBA injuries report tool, as the slate can completely change before lineups lock at 7:00 p.m. EST on DraftKings. Good luck, RotoBallers!

Featured Promo: New Novig users get a $25 purchase match (50% discount up to $25) on your first Novig deposit, and 3 free months of RotoBaller's "Big-4" Premium Pass (NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL) which includes exclusive tools for Betting, Props, DFS and more! CLAIM IT NOW

DraftKings NBA DFS Core Picks

Giannis Antetokounmpo, MIL - PF/C ($11.4K)

Giannis may be the most expensive player on the slate, but as only one of two players priced at $10k or greater, there's plenty of money to go around. Giannis has torched the Pacers twice this year (30+ points and 10+ rebounds both times) and historically (38.2/12.5/6.6 in his last 10 games against the Pacers).

Giannis is averaging the second-most fantasy points per minute this season, and I expect a heavy workload for him tonight against a team he's historically had massive box scores against, with the Bucks coming off two straight losses.

James Harden, LAC - PG ($9.9K)

Harden has been a great playmaker for the Clippers all year, but since Norman Powell went down a few games ago, Harden has stepped up for his squad. In these last four games (all without Powell), Harden is averaging 56.75 fantasy PPG, highlighted by dropping a 50 burger against the Pistons last Wednesday.

Tonight, he faces off against the Pelicans, who rank dead last in defensive efficiency and allow the second-most assists per game - two metrics that perfectly complement this current iteration of Harden.

Others Under Consideration: Cade Cunningham, DET - PG ($10.2K), Andrew Nembhard, IND - PG/SG ($5.8K), Damian Lillard, MIL - PG ($9K)

DraftKings NBA DFS Tournament Pivots

Zion Williamson, NO - SF/PF ($9.2K)

Zion continues to be one of the most efficient per-minute players in the NBA (currently 5th at 1.57 fantasy points per minute). The problem is that he only plays about 28.5 minutes per game on average, which is considerably less than any other player with a price tag this hefty. He's always low ownership, so the nights he pops off, he's typically a difference-maker.

Jalen Duren, DET - C ($6.6K)

Duren is pretty limited offensively, so he's at his best when he's against teams that are weak rebounders. Tonight, he gets the Wizards, who are weak against everything. They allow the second-most fantasy PPG to centers, highlighted by their bottom three rankings in both defensive rebound % and 2nd chance points allowed. Duren should have a relatively easy time against the two rookie Centers the Wizards will roll out.

Others Under Consideration: Ivica Zubac, LAC - C ($8K), Cameron Johnson, BKN - PF ($6.1K), Donovan Mitchell, CLE - PG/SG ($8.5K)

DraftKings NBA DFS Value Picks

Tristan Vukcevic, WAS - C ($4.4K)

Bilal Coulibaly left last night's game early, and surprisingly, Vukcevic benefitted the most, playing a season-high 25 minutes. It seems like he has a solid place in the Wizards' rotation with Richaun Holmes continuing to miss time. The Wizards are the cheapest team on the slate tonight, and as 14-point underdogs, this game could get ugly, giving the bench players, like Vukcevic, additional run.

Karlo Matkovic, NO - C ($3.7K)

Matkovic has played his way into the Pelicans' nightly rotation after being a non-factor the first few months of the year. He's averaging just under 23 fantasy points per game in his last five appearances, and with Kelly Olynyk set to miss tonight's game, that should lead to more opportunities for Matkovic.

Others Under Consideration: D'Angelo Russell, BKN - PG ($5.1K), Corey Kispert, WAS - SF/PF ($4.3K)

Today's Top NBA DFS Game Stacks

Bucks at Pacers (231.5 O/U)

This game has a relatively high total of 231.5, but it could end up being the only close game of the night. This game features some of the best plays on the slate, and the Pacers that step up to fill Tyrese Haliburton's shoes will likely decide the slate from a tournament perspective.

Wizards at Pistons (234 O/U)

This game is straightforward to stack due to all of the injuries the Wizards are dealing with. The Pistons are also exceptionally cheap after Cade Cunningham. If both this game and the Nets-Cavaliers turn into blowouts (like Vegas thinks they will), I much prefer the Wizards' options compared to the Nets.

My Favorite NBA DFS Picks for Today

Here is where I leave you with some of my favorites.

  • My favorite OVERALL play on the slate: Giannis Antetokounmpo
  • My favorite CASH play on the slate: James Harden
  • My favorite GPP play on the slate: Jalen Duren
  • My favorite VALUE play: Karlo Matkovic
