DraftKings Late Night CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Daily College Fantasy Football (10/12/24)

Ashton Jeanty - College Football Rankings, NCAA CFB DFS Lineup Picks

Mike's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for Saturday's Late-Night Slate (10/12/24). His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win.

I will never understand why DraftKings is so dense when it comes to these late-night slates. They left a perfect good Minnesota-UCLA game at the Rose Bowl off of this slate because it started a half-hour earlier. They didn't put it on the evening slate, so why not tack it on here?

We still have a solid nightcap. It starts in Boulder with Kansas State visiting their personal house of horrors at Folsom Field. We end on the islands with Ashton Jeanty going bonkers in paradise. This will still be fun even though it could have been better. DraftKings, quit being morons!

In this article, I will provide you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 10/12/24, locking at 10:15 p.m. EDT. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks

Shedeur Sanders, Colorado ($9K)

I'm old enough to remember what BYU did to Kansas State in Provo. I'm also old enough to remember a large percentage of the 28 losses in 33 games in Boulder. The K-State defense has been solid, but solid might not cut it with the way Shedeur is playing.

Brayden Schager, Hawaii ($7.5K)

The Warriors are going to be throwing to try and keep up with what Boise does to them on the ground. Boise's defense has allowed a lot of points as well. We can expect at least 40 pass attempts out of Schager tonight. That could produce some nice stats.

Also consider Avery Johnson, Kansas State ($7.5K); Maddux Madsen, Boise State ($6.1K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs

Ashton Jeanty, Boise State ($11.4K)

The price on Jeanty is prohibitive, but it has to be when he's a lock for 200 rushing yards and a couple of touchdowns. We can't play any other stars with him, so if you run Jeanty in a GPP, you had better hope Colorado doesn't go off.

Dylan Edwards, Kansas State ($4.8K)

Edwards was in one of the side tents at the Colorado circus last year. Does anyone else think that Kansas State is going to give him a few more looks against his former team? You know he's going to be a little salty. Everyone who leaves the Church of Deion is. I love the value of Edwards here, even if he is a "backup."

Also consider: DJ Giddens, Kansas State ($7.3K); Micah Welch, Colorado ($4.3K);

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers

Travis Hunter, Colorado ($10K)

The price of Hunter is also prohibitive. You need a master class on lineup building in DFS to play this slate. This is where RotoBaller's optimizer can really help you out! You can cram both Shedeur and Hunter in your lineups, but Hunter and Jeanty will not work, at least not to my satisfaction.

Pofele Ashlock, Hawaii ($7.3K)

Ashlock has at least eight receptions in each of the last three games and has scored a touchdown in every game. Yeah, he's not as explosive as Travis Hunter and he doesn't have the guaranteed stats of Jeanty. However, on a slate like this where you can't afford all of the stars, he's a great consolation prize for moving down from Hunter.

Jayce Brown, Kansas State ($4.2K)

The Wildcats don't throw a whole lot, but Brown has picked up more targets as the season has progressed. He caught his first touchdown of the season before the bye against Oklahoma State. That should be a sign of things to come.

Also consider LaJohntay Wester, Colorado ($5.5K); Cam Camper, Boise State ($5K); Tylan Hines, Hawaii ($4.2K)

DraftKings CFB Stacks

Boise State

Stacking Madsen, Jeanty, and Cam Camper isn't as expensive as you may think. You still have $27.5K left for the other five positions. The bad news is that Hunter and Sanders would cost you $19K.

Also consider: Hawaii, Colorado
