Hey, RotoBallers! I want to introduce myself formally, my name is Jon Irvin. Some of you may know me from the Discord channels and know I love breaking down DFS slates, especially in the MLB and NHL. I enjoy the deep dumpster diving so to speak, and look forward to helping find the low-owned, overlooked, and unwanted plays. I predominantly play on DraftKings, so some of my picks are more tailored to their point/price system but a good spot is a good spot regardless of platform. We now have enough data to focus on positive and negative trends by implementing my trend chart where I look at both L25 and L10 to help see which teams are trending in which direction.
Welcome back to the discount rack! Today's DFS content will be for the main slate for both DraftKings and FanDuel for Monday, March 3rd, 2024. Last week's article was spot on and helped me take down a couple of contests. Let's jump into tonight's slate and duplicate the success! We have several pay-up spots with COL, FLA, TOR, and BOS all on the docket for a 6-game slate, so finding the right value to squeeze in our studs will be crucial.

NHL DFS Analysis and Picks for 3/4/24
As stated earlier, I have begun to implement my personal trend chart. Below, you'll see stats that reflect the average of L25 and L10. This happens to weigh L10 heavier, which tightens our sample and shows both positive and negative trends.
DraftKings and FanDuel Goalies - NHL DFS Picks
Sergei Bobrovsky - DK $7.5K || FD $7.9K
Opponent - New York Rangers
Bob Rov has been one of the most consistent goalies as of late. Going 9-1 in his L10 and scoring at least 13 DK points in each game helps lock down a nice value floor for our netminder. The New York Rangers have been on a slight slide L10 generating offense so today may be the day to keep riding Bob.

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NHL DFS Picks
Mikael Backlund - DK $4.6K || FD $5.9K
Back to the value well and one of the perennial favorite lines with CGY3. These three together have been magic, both with generating goals as well as being a defensive stalwart. Seattle isn't the easiest opponent but what we are hunting is upside value to be able to jam in either Mackinnon or Matthews.

Yegor Chinakhov - DK $4.2K || FD $5.6K
Opponent -Vegas Golden Knights
Uh-oh, uh-oh-oh, little China(khov) in my best David Bowie impression, the Russians are coming. They let me down the other day but this unit when together has been great all year 5v5. Vegas is reeling and team Sputnik may just light the lamp.

Cam York - DK $3.8K || FD $4.8K

I'm looking at several PHI blueliners tonight, Cam York has been on a heater, and he is still under 4k which makes him a decent value. Nick Seeler has been one of the best value defensemen over the last month if you can find some extra cash to spend up.
Below I've included a chart of defensemen over the past month concentrating more on peripheral floors rather than relying on goals/assists.
