DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks (11/11/24): NHL DFS Lineups

Jon Irvin's NHL DFS picks for today's contests on FanDuel and DraftKings. Use Jon's picks to win money playing NHL DFS on 11/11/24.

Hey, RotoBallers! I want to introduce myself formally. My name is Jon Irvin. Some of you may know me from the Discord channels and know I love breaking down DFS slates, especially in the MLB and NHL. I enjoy the deep dumpster diving, so to speak, and look forward to helping find the low-owned, overlooked, and unwanted plays.

I predominantly play on DraftKings, so some of my picks are more tailored to their point/price system, but a good spot is a good spot regardless of platform.

Welcome back, my friends, to the show that never ends. We're so glad you could attend. Come inside! Today's DFS content will be for the main slate for both DraftKings and FanDuel for Monday, November 11th, 2024, at 7:00 PM EDT.

DraftKings and FanDuel Goalies - NHL DFS Picks

Value in net is key on DK with a three-point bonus at the 35-save mark. We can afford to give up an extra goal or two if our goalie can see a steady shot volume against him. Those extra few hundred can get us those top-line forwards.

Jake Oettinger - DK $7.4K || FD $8.4K

Opponent - Pittsburgh Penguins

Jake's recent slide, teamed with a tough matchup, has his price at a discount. Pittsburgh comes in with the second-most SOG 5v5 on the slate, which should allow for an ample amount of save chances and a chance at the 35-save bonus on DK. Even after giving up 11 goals over the past three games, Oettinger still sits at a .910 SV% and a 2.60 GAA, both numbers good enough to target for our netminder.

Others to consider: Dustin Wolf (DK $8.1K || FD $7.3K )

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NHL DFS Picks

Jack Drury - DK $2.6K || FD $3.8K

Opponent - Vegas Golden Knights

One of the main problems we have with running value skates is TOI. Most bottom-six pairings rarely see top-line minutes, so we must search for the golden hair, that cheap player that makes the most of his playing time.

Drury has been a production monster in his limited TOI, along with the rest of CAR4. Jack also sees time on the second PP unit alongside Jackson Blake, giving both another opportunity to light the lamp for a steep discount.

Others to consider: Mikael Backlund (DK $3.6K || FD $4.6K )

DraftKings and FanDuel Wings - NHL DFS Picks

Akil Thomas - DK $3.0K || FD $4.3K (Thomas is listed as C on FD)

Opponent - Calgary Flames

Finding a winger to pair well with Anze Kopitar & Adrian Kempe has been a trouble spot for LAK this year. The revolving door for the third spot on L1 has now landed on Akil Thomas. Thomas has been active in both sog and blocks while spending time on LAK4, with an uptick of minutes that should bring more chances for the young winger.

Others to consider: Nicolas Roy (DK $3.3K || FD $4.8K)

DraftKings and FanDuel Defensemen - NHL DFS Picks

Alexandre Carrier - DK $3.2K || FD $3.7K

Opponent - Colorado Avalanche

This matchup should be an avenue for Carrier to reach the block bonus on DK, which he's hit the past two games. Colorado is getting dangerous with the return of Artturi Lehkonen and has been piling up the SOG to now almost 30SF/60.

With NSH allowing nearly 30SA/60, Alex and his 20-minute TOI should block a few extra pucks tonight. Carrier is also playing time on NSH PK1 and comes into tonight leading the Predators with 6.1 Bks/60.

Others to consider: Marcus Pettersson (DK $3.4K || FD $4.2K)
