DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (6/2/22): Today's Top NBA DFS Lineups

Stephen Curry - NBA DFS Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on June 2, 2022. Juan Carlos Blanco provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

After a three-day breather, the NBA takes center stage again for the final leg of the 2022 postseason. Game 1 of the NBA Finals between the Celtics and Warriors tips off at Chase Center on Thursday night, and given the talent on each team, it could be one of the most memorable finishes to the Larry O'Brien Trophy chase in quite some time.

The series should also be an intriguing one from a DFS perspective, as there's little mystery as to who offense will flow through on each squad and there's little question rotations should be very tight on both clubs as well.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 6/2/22.

DraftKings and FanDuel Captain/MVP - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Jayson Tatum, BOS ($15,900 DK; $16,000 FD)

Tatum is coming off a terrific ECF against the Heat where he averaged 25.0 points, 8.3 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 1.1 steals while shooting a solid 46.2 percent. He's also carrying a team-high 29.1 percent usage rate during the postseason, as well as the second-highest assist percentage (25.2) among Boston's starters. Tatum also put up 26.5 points, 10.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.0 steal in two games against the Warriors during the regular season, and it's worth noting that just like in the regular season, the star forward has been at his best on the road during the postseason (30.6 percent usage rate, +8.0 net rating, 57.9 true shooting percentage).

Stephen Curry, GSW ($15,300 DK; $15,500 FD)

Curry shot 43.9 percent from behind the arc during the WCF against the Mavericks, and he's averaged 25.9 points, 6.2 assists, 4.9 rebounds and 1.1 steals over the entirety of the postseason despite not logging his first start until Game 5 of the quarterfinal round versus the Nuggets. Curry is boasting a team-high 29.7 percent usage rate and 15.0 Player Efficiency Rating during the postseason as well while generating a team-high 28.2 percent assist rate and 59.7 true shooting percentage. His ability to rack up production in a hurry makes him a natural candidate for the maximum multiplier spot, although it's worth noting he shot only 36.0 percent against the Celtics in two games during the regular season, although the second was cut short by the infamous foot injury he suffered at the hands of Marcus Smart.

DraftKings and FanDuel Utility Plays - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Jaylen Brown, BOS ($9,200 DK; $14,000 FD)

Brown boasts a 26.1 percent usage rate, 59.5 true shooting percentage and 13.0 Player Efficiency Rating in the postseason thus far, and he's coming into the Finals with a hot hand. Brown put up 24.1 points, 7.1 rebounds and 3.0 assists while shooting 48.8 percent, including 40.4 percent from behind the arc, during the just-concluded seven-game series against the Heat, and he's drained 48.5 percent of his attempts overall during the entirety of the postseason. Brown also posted a 40.0 percent success rate from three-point range in two games against the Warriors in the regular season, and after posting at least 40 DK points in eight playoff games already, he certainly has the upside to overdeliver on his current salaries.

Andrew Wiggins, GSW ($7,200 DK; $13,000 FD)

Wiggins is coming off an impressive WCF against the Mavericks, as he eclipsed 30 fantasy points on either site in four of the five games. The veteran wing averaged 18.6 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.8 assists in that series, and he put up 44 DK/43.2 FD points in his one game versus the Celtics during the regular season. Wiggins sports a solid 19.7 percent usage rate and starter-high 10.2 net rating on Golden State during the entirety of the postseason as well, making him a rock-solid consideration for a utility play on DK or a STAR or PRO spot on FD.

Others to consider: Klay Thompson, GSW ($7,800; $11,500 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Value Plays - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Marcus Smart, BOS ($8,200 DK; $12,000 FD)

Smart will have gotten some much-needed rest for his gimpy ankle over the last three days, and he's put together multiple spike performances during the postseason. The Defensive Player of the Year is averaging 15.8 points, 6.7 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 11 postseason games, and he's generated a first-unit-high 29.6 percent assist rate on the road in that sample. It's also worth noting Smart was highly efficient in two games against the Warriors in the regular season, shooting 58.3 percent, including 46.2 percent from three-point range.

Draymond Green, GSW ($6,800 DK; $11,000 FD)

Green has posted double-digit scoring tallies in five of his last six postseason games, shooting an efficient 52.9 percent while averaging a well-balanced 11.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 6.0 assists. The versatile forward scuffled against the Celtics during the regular season with 4.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists while shooting 25.0 percent, but he's put up a 25.7 percent assist rate that's tops among Warriors starters and a 10.7 percent rebounding rate that's second on Golden State's first unit during home postseason games thus far. While there's certainly some risk of a downturn with the likes of Al Horford and Robert Williams patrolling the rim, Green's ability to stuff the stat sheet and discounted salaries make him worthy of consideration.

Others to consider: Al Horford, BOS ($7,600 DK; $12,500 FD); Jordan Poole, DAL ($6,400 DK; $10,500 FD)
