DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (3/7/23): Today's Top NBA DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on March 7th, 2023. Max Kulish provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

Welcome back, RotoBallers! Let me be the last to wish you a happy March. I know this is the month where college basketball shines, but tonight we've got a solid 8-game slate, headlined by the TNT doubleheader. These articles focus on the overall best plays, which are typically more suited for cash games. However, some exceptions may apply, depending on the size of the slate.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 3/7/23. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome new NBA injuries report tool as the slate can completely change before lineups lock.

As always, feel free to follow my Twitter (@Maxadelphia) to keep up-to-date with NBA news and for my nightly NBA bets if you're into that sort of thing. Let's go!

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander - PG, OKC vs GS ($10,000 DK, $10,800 FD)

Minutes restriction? SGA isn't familiar with that term. A day after his coach said the Thunder would be monitoring his minutes, Gilgeous-Alexander returned from a 2-week absence to play 37 minutes and drop 59.25 DK points. SGA showed no signs of being restricted, going to the free-throw line 19 times, and making 17. With this game opening at an absurd total of 241, it looks like there will be points aplenty.

Tyus Jones - PG, MEM @ LAL ($4,900 DK, $7,500 FD)

As the Grizzlies move forward without Ja Morant, Jones is primed to continue to put up huge numbers. He posted a 60.75 DK point performance last game, highlighted by a 25-point, 12-assist double-double. Simply put pricing hasn't caught up to production yet (especially on DK).

Alec Burks - SG, DET vs WAS ($4,100 DK, $5,000 FD)

Burks got the starting nod for a banged-up Pistons team and posted 30+ DK points in only 23 minutes. Tonight, he gets the 26th-ranked defense against SGs and should see quality looks. This game doesn't project to be highly owned, making Burks especially interested in tournaments.

Others to consider: Luka Doncic ($12,000 DK, $12,000 FD), Dennis Smith Jr ($4,900 DK, $6,500 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Giannis Antetokounmpo - SF/PF, MIL @ ORL ($12,400 DK, $12,200 FD)

Giannis is head and shoulders above the other forward options tonight, both in terms of consistency and ceiling. The Magic have a solid, young, frontcourt, but none of them are able to handle Giannis 1-on-1. Also, keep an eye on Jrue Holiday's health. Should he miss tonight's game, Giannis will see even more of the ball.

Troy Brown Jr. - SF/PF, LAL vs MEM ($4,200 DK, $5,000 FD)

Brown has slid into the Lakers' starting 5 in replacement of LeBron James, which is no easy task. However, Brown has put together his best 3 game stretch of the season from a fantasy perspective. He's scored 33.25, 25, and 29 DK points in that span. He probably won't break the slate, but he plays big minutes which lends itself to a high floor if things don't break right.

Jalen McDaniels - SF/PF, PHI @ MIN ($3,100 DK, $4,000 FD)

McDaniels is projecting off the charts tonight, mostly thanks to being on a back-to-back. His price isn't reflective of his current role, which we got a glimpse of on Monday night against the Pacers. McDaniels started in the wake of injuries to both Tobias Harris and PJ Tucker, resulting in a 20-point, 8-rebound performance, which made him one of the best plays on the slate. I expect McDaniels to be heavily owned, but at nearly stone minimum on both sites, he'll be hard to ignore.

Others to consider: Anthony Edwards ($9,600 DK, $8,900 FD),  Isaiah Livers ($3,400 DK, $4,200 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Anthony Davis - C, LAL vs MEM ($10,800 DK, $11,500 FD)

Running it back with Davis, for pretty much the exact same reason as last week (below), but this time, we get a nice $1k savings compared to last Tuesday.

If the Lakers are going to still be alive for the playoffs by the time LeBron is ready to return, you have to think most of that burden will fall on Davis' shoulders and unibrow. In addition, D'Angelo Russell has been ruled out, leaving the Lakers with little elite scoring talent besides Davis.

Xavier Tillman - C, MEM @ LAL  ($5,400 DK, $5,700 FD)

Going to the other side of this Lakers-Grizzlies matchup, the Grizzlies are very thin in the frontcourt after Brandon Clarke tore his Achilles and is finished for the season. Tillman had been starting before Clarke's injury but played his highest minutes total of the season in the Grizzlies' only game since Clarke was lost.

Others to consider: Mitchell Robinson ($4,900 DK, $6,600 FD)
