DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (3/10/23): Today's Top NBA DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on March 10th, 2023. Josh Wiesel provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

Happy Friday RotoBallers! We have a smaller six-game slate tonight. As always, value can be found and that’s exactly what we’re going to try to do here. Of the six games, the only one that I see having real blowout potential is the Denver Nuggets visiting the San Antonio Spurs. This could be something factor as players' production may be cut short.

Using FanDuel and DraftKings pricing, I’ll be going through different positions at different price points. Both companies offer the ability to have players be eligible for multiple positions. This should come in handy when building a roster or lineup for tonight’s games. Hopefully, you will use this as a guide and find the information helpful.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 3/10/23. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome new NBA injuries report tool as the slate can completely change before lineups lock. DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Dejounte Murray- PG/SG @ WAS (FD: $8,500, DK: $7,700)

When these teams played on Wednesday, Murray was able to generate 37 DraftKings points. He's averaged 34.46 DraftKings points in his last ten games and 40.5 this season. Murray is shooting career-best percentages this season and always has the ability to explode in any game. The Hawks guard shot just 1-5 from three last time out against Washington but the volume is encouraging. Trae Young torched the Wizards on Wednesday, I think Dejounte has a good chance to do it tonight.

Tyrese Maxey- PG/SF vs. POR (DK: $7,500, FD: $6,600)

Maxey has been heating up lately with an average of 38.56 DraftKings points in his last five games. He's been scoring better, with at least 24+ points in each of his last five games. The Sixers can be a bit unpredictable on who is or isn't in the lineup but Maxey has played in 16 straight games since the start of February. His three-point shooting has also been on fire, knocking down 19/33 (57.6%) from deep. Portland has struggled on defense in their last five games. They are near the top of the league in most made field goals allowed per game. When it comes to defending the three-point line in that same timeline, Portland is decent but nothing special. This should allow for Maxey to get good looks all game and is worth a look in your lineups.

Other players to target: Tyler Herro (FD: $7,500, DK: $7,400), Mike Conley ( DK: $5,700, FD: $5,500), Devonte' Graham (FD: $5,600, DK: $5,200)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Kyle Kuzma- SF/PF vs. ATL (FD: $7,900 , DK: $7,800)

The last time Kyle Kuzma played the Atlanta Hawks, he scored 25 points, grabbed ten rebounds, and distributed six assists. He also added two steals and was 10-15 from the floor with two three-pointers. Kuzma put up this stat line on…Wednesday night. Sticking with the same matchup two days later, I like Kuzma to have another strong game. In the last month, Atlanta has been giving up the sixth most points to power forwards, sixth most rebounds, second most assists, third most threes, and fourth most steals. The Blazers as a team are bottom 20 in opponent points per game. This has big game Kuz written all over it.

Scottie Barnes- SF/PF @ LAL (FD: $7,700, DK: $6,700)

Scottie Barnes is quietly having a very nice season. It hasn't been as loud as his rookie year was but he's remained steady and even has become a better playmaker.  His scoring isn't as high as many thought it would be, scoring a modest 15 points per game. What he is doing is averaging nearly five assists per game on nine potential assists. The five assists along with 15 points, seven rebounds, and a steal, have made him a very useful DFS player this season. Barnes's 34.7 fantasy points per game are higher than some of the slightly more expensive options in Keldon Johnson and Jerami Grant.

Matisse Thybulle- SF @ PHI (FD: $4,400, DK: $4,300)

The Blazers forward returns back to Philadelphia to take on his former Sixers team. Thybulle is not the prettiest fantasy player but he offers potential production in a multitude of areas. He's played at least 32 minutes in four of his last five games. Last game he only played 20 minutes because Portland got crushed by the Boston Celtics. He's playing his former team, should have extra motivation, and plays consistent minutes in the '30s. Look for Thybulle to insert himself into this game and possibly have one of those three to four-steal games.

Others to target: Gary Trent Jr. (FD: $5,300, DK: $4,900)

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Joel Embiid- C vs. POR (FD: $12,000, DK: $11,600)

This is a great matchup for the NBA’s top scorer. Back in January, Embiid had 32 points, nine rebounds, and three blocks against this Blazers team. Portland has been struggling to defend centers lately, giving up the most points per game. For the season, Portland is in the top five for most opponent FanDuel points per game to centers. Something else to keep in mind is Embiid will be going up against Damian Lillard. The two of them are in a tight race for the scoring title and this could turn into a mono-e-mono duel between two of the game's best. Joel is having a huge March, averaging nearly 37 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 1.3 steals, and two three-pointers. I expect another big performance out of him tonight.

Jakob Poeltl- C @ LAL (FD: $7,400, DK: $6,900)

Since joining the Toronto Raptors via trade, Poeltl has done nothing but produce. Averaging 14.7 points and 9.1 rebounds, the seven-foot-one center is a strong play tonight. In their last ten games, the Los Angeles Lakers are in the bottom ten for opponent rebounds per game. For what it's worth, opponents are in the top ten for blocked shots per game against LAL. These two categories can certainly favor a player like Poeltl. When it comes to points in the paint, the Lakers don't do a good job preventing that either.

Thomas Bryant- C @ SAS (FD: $4,400, DK: $3,300)

I feel like I'd be doing a disservice not at least mentioning Bryant. The Denver Nuggets will be huge favorites against the San Antonio Spurs tonight. In the event the game gets out of hand, Bryant would stand to greatly benefit and pick up the minutes with Jokic on the bench. The price may be too good to pass up and it's definitely worth thinking about.

Others to target: Onyeka Okongwu (FD: $5,000, DK: $4,000)
