DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (11/27/23): Today's Top NBA DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on November 27, 2023. Mike Barner provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

The NBA starts off the week with just five games on Monday. The highlight of the evening should be the matchup between the Lakers and the 76ers. The Clippers will also host the Nuggets in another noteworthy game.

Despite only five games set to be played, there are plenty of injury concerns. Among the players who are listed as questionable are LeBron James (calf), Lauri Markkanen (hamstring), Jordan Clarkson (illness), and Jordan Poole (ankle).

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 11/27/23. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome new NBA injuries report tool, as the slate can completely change before lineups lock at 7:00 pm EST.

 

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Tyrese Haliburton, IND vs. POR – PG ($11,000 DK; $10,600 FD)

The Pacers are off to a 9-6 start and Haliburton is the main reason for their success. He has missed just one game, averaging 25.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, 12.1 assists, and 3.9 three-pointers. One of the keys to his success has been his efficiency, shooting 50.8 percent from the field and 91.9 percent from the charity stripe. For this limited slate, he has one of the highest floors of any player at any position.

Cade Cunningham, DET vs. WAS – PG ($8,300 DK; $8,000 FD)

This is a great matchup for Cunningham. The Wizards have not only played at the second-fastest pace in the league, but they also have the worst defensive rating. With his career-high 31.2 percent usage rate, Cunningham has averaged 22.0 points per game. He’s not just scoring, either, given his averages of 3.6 rebounds and 7.1 assists.

Jaden Ivey, DET vs. WAS – PG/SG ($5,400 DK; $5,200 FD)

Given that he was selected with the fifth overall pick in the 2022 Draft, it was a bit strange that new coach Monty Williams decided to bring Ivey off the bench at the beginning of the season. In that role, he averaged just 11.0 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 21 minutes per game. He has started the last three games, averaging 17.0 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists over 30 minutes per game. Added playing time against a bad team that plays at a fast pace makes Ivey a great target.

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Zion Williamson, NO at UTA – PF ($8,700 DK; $8,100 FD)

Williamson did not take the floor when these two teams played each other Saturday. It was the second game of a back-to-back set for the Pelicans, so they decided to rest him. He is not on the injury report for this rematch, so expect him to be deployed as normal. With him being able to stay healthy, he has averaged 23.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and 1.0 steals in 32 minutes per game.

Shaedon Sharpe, POR at IND – SF/SG ($7,000 DK; $6,700 FD)

The Pacers are a great team to attack in DFS. They have played at the fastest pace and they have the third-worst defensive rating in the league. That has contributed to them allowing a whopping 125.5 points per game. Sharpe has not been efficient with his 39.9 percent shooting from the field, but he receives plenty of shot attempts and is averaging 37 minutes per game. That should be enough to make him worth rostering.

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Nikola Jokic, DEN at LAC – C ($12,800 DK; $12,600 FD)

Jokic was one assist shy of recording a triple-double Sunday versus the Spurs. With Jamal Murray (hamstring) having missed so much time, Jokic has needed to put the team on his back. The result has been robust averages of 28.8 points, 13.4 rebounds, and 8.9 assists. Don’t expect the duo of Ivica Zubac and Daniel Theis to be the ones to slow him down.

Jalen Duren, DET vs. WAS – C ($6,700 DK; $6,700 FD)

The Pistons decided to bring Duren off the bench in his first game back from an ankle injury. That didn’t stop him from posting 13 points, 13 rebounds, and four assists versus the Pacers. He played 29 minutes, so he wasn’t really limited. Even if he doesn’t start again on Monday, he should play enough to exploit a matchup against a Wizards team that has allowed the most rebounds per game in the league.

Walker Kessler, UTA vs. NO – C ($5,500 DK; $5,700 FD)

Kessler also came off the bench in his return from injury. While he only logged 21 minutes versus the Pelicans on Saturday, he still chipped in 11 points, 11 rebounds, two blocks, and one steal. Before the injury, he was having a disappointing start to the season, part of which can be attributed to him playing just 24 minutes per game. However, the Pelicans have a lot of size up front, so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Kessler see a bump in minutes for this matchup.
