DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (11/11/23): Today's Top NBA DFS Lineups

Giannis Antetokounmpo - NBA DFS Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on November 4, 2023. Kyle Ringstad provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

It's a Saturday and in the NBA, that means small, nondescript slates and out-of-nowhere scratches to deal with. The Bucks-Magic game has the highest implied total and holds the top K-Grade in my rankings model, but the Hawks come in as the top team to target due to their favorable matchup against the Heat. The Raptors and Cavaliers are in brutal spots for fantasy production, but we can't rule out getting to players on any team on a four-game slate.

As always, injuries are a key factor here and we will need to monitor for news and make adjustments as we learn more. Damian Lillard is dealing with a calf injury, and his status is the key pivot point on this slate. Al Horford, Precious Achiuwa, Nikola Jovic, and Gary Harris are also questionable.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 11/11/23. I start my process with a "K-Grade" model shown below, which I've been fine-tuning for about three years. This model takes real metrics like the implied total, fantasy points per game allowed, defensive ratings, offensive ratings, and projected pace, and applies them to a model with weights. It should be used as a directional guide for the slate and I've had plenty of success with it, but stick to your own process and DFS best practices. For example, a player on a team with a "D" K-Grade could easily be the top value on the slate due to a significant uptick in minutes and usage rate.

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Dennis Schroder, TOR vs. BOS – PG ($6,400 DK; $6,900 FD)

I don't think what Shroder has done this season is getting enough attention. The 30-year-old journeyman has elevated his game on his new team in Toronto, averaging 36.6 DK points per game on 47% FG% and 40% 3PT%. He has reached the 40 DK point mark in three of eight (38%) games. He should continue to get heavy minutes at a high (for him) 22% usage rate, which will play up against a Boston team that is allowing the 11th-most fantasy points per game to opposing PGs this season.

Kyle Lowry, MIA vs. ATL – PG ($5,700 DK; $5,400 FD)

I'm not getting fooled into playing Jimmy Butler on this slate, so we're riding with the hot hand in Kyle Lowry. Lowry had been struggling to make an impact this season, but a matchup with the lowly Grizzlies remedied that as he scored a season-high 47.75 DK points with an impressive 17/11/9 line. Lowry's playmaking and scoring is sorely needed with Tyler Herro out of the lineup, and someone has to pick up the slack with Butler averaging just 18.4 points per game. The Hawks have defended point guards well to this point, but we're still working with a small sample size, and I'm going to assume Trae Young didn't magically become a great defender in the offseason.

Others to consider: Bogdan Bogdanovic, Darius Garland, Jrue Holiday

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Jalen Johnson, ATL vs. MIA – PF ($6,200 DK; $6,500 FD)

Jalen Johnson has exploded onto the scene in his rookie season, easily overtaking Saddiq Bey while averaging 15/9/3/1/1 on 60% shooting. He needs 31 DK points to his 5x value at his current salary tonight, meaning his salary is still too low as he's averaging 33.5 DK points per game this season. He has at least 42.75 DK points in two of his last three games, and now he gets a matchup that has been extremely favorable for power forwards this season. The Heat have a stout defense overall, but they're allowing the seventh-most fantasy points per game to opposing PFs.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, MIL vs. ORL – PF/C ($11,000 DK)

The Greek Freak isn't an option on FanDuel as his game is not included on the slate, but I'm all about it over on DraftKings tonight. Assuming Damian Lillard takes another game off with his calf issue, Giannis Antetokounmpo has the highest median output and potential ceiling by a very wide margin. He dropped 54 points, 12 rebounds, and three assists on Thursday in Lillard's absence, finishing with 71 DK points despite committing eight turnovers. The Magic surprisingly rank fifth in defensive rating and allow the third-least fantasy points per game overall, but this is way too good of an opportunity to pass up.

Others to consider: Duncan Robinson, Jimmy Butler, Draymond Green, De'Andre Hunter, Franz Wagner

 

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Jarrett Allen, CLE vs. GSW, C ($5,700 DK; $6,600 FD)

Jarrett Allen is a bit of a wild card on this slate. He is cheap as he has only played in three games after missing the beginning of the season with an ankle injury. However, he has played 26 and 28 minutes in his last two contests, which may be signaling that he's nearing a return to his typical workload. He's a 1.14 FPTS/min player, so if he can get to 28-30+ minutes, he's going to smash value at his salary. The Warriors are a prime matchup for opposing centers as they allow the fifth-most fantasy points per game to the position this season.

Onyeka Okongwu, ATL vs. MIA – C ($4,500 DK) DraftKings Only

Onyeka Okongwu is far too expensive at $6,000 on FanDuel, so I'm not playing him there. He's firmly in play on DraftKings, though, and this slate is starved for decent value. Okongwu's minutes can be frustrating, but he's a 1.00 FPTS/min player and has plenty of upside if things break right for him. He needs just 22.5 DK points to hit 5x value, and he's averaging 24.2 DK points per game. He has already shown his 35+ DK point upside this season.
