Worth the DraftKings Investment

Derrick Rose (CHI, G) - $6,700

Simply stated, Rose is a must play tonight. He is a true superstar who looks fully healthy and is locked into big minutes a reduced price. In game one Rose played 27 minutes but put up an impressive 23 points and 7 assists on his way to 39.0 fantasy points. Chicago is notorious for having a very tight playoff rotation so it should be assumed that 27 minutes is the  minimum amount that Rose will play tonight. The Bucks have also struggled a bit against opposing point guards since the trade of Brandon Knight to Phoenix, so do not let the skewed fact that they are first against opposing point guards scare you off of Rose.

F: Draymond Green (GS, F) - $7,700

Many people were scared off of Green in game one due to the presence of Anthony Davis. Although Davis is a stellar defensive player, his presence actually should help Green’s fantasy production as he is the only player on Golden State’s roster with any ability to slow him down. That played out in game one as Green saw an outstanding 42 minutes, and he was able to contribute a fantasy friendly line of 15 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 blocks and 3 steals. Although he only averages 11.7 points on the season, Green’s all-around game is what makes him stick out in DFS, as his ability to produces double-doubles along with being a top five defensive player in the league can get him to value quickly. With Golden State looking to secure a 2-0 series lead, expect Green to again be counted on for over 40 minutes with the injury to David Lee.

Joakim Noah (CHI, C) - $5,800

Much like his teammate Rose, Noah is simply priced too low to not be owned tonight. After battling a multitude on injuries this year, Noah was able to play 35 minutes in game one against Milwaukee and posted 32.75 fantasy points which would get him to 5x value again tonight. Like Green, the positive for fantasy players like Noah is that he is not reliant on scoring to post a big night. So even if he is not getting a ton of shots, he is still capable of producing a good fantasy line. It is a still a bit concerning that Noah has not been in double figures for scoring in the last 10 games. With that being said, he still has posted four games over 30 fantasy points, and that is what you are looking for in terms of value. Zaza Pachulia is not the type of defender who should slow down Noah throughout an entire series. If he can get that elusive double-double tonight, Noah should be one of the best plays.

DraftKings Sleepers & Value Picks

Eric Gordon (NO, G) - $5,100

There are a lot of things to not like about Gordon, including the fact that Klay Thompson is a top flight defender, and he has moved down the pecking order in terms of scoring. With that being said, this time of year it is all about getting minutes which tend to lead to fantasy production, and Gordon is getting that. In game one he played 35 minutes and had a solid 24.5 fantasy points. He will certainly be under-owned tonight, as the masses will flock to Quincy Pondexter who posted an unreal 45.75 fantasy points in game one and is at $4,800. However, there is almost no way Pondexter duplicates that performance, and Gordon provides a level of consistency with nine out of the 10 games scoring over 20 fantasy points. In cash games Gordon makes for a tremendous play. He is a bit more of a gamble in GPP’s.
