DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (4/9/19): NBA DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on April 9, 2019. Justin Bales provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

After no games on Monday, we have a 12 game Tuesday slate. This will be the last large slate of the season, so we need to take advantage of that. With that being said, there are a ridiculous amount of injuries, and I'm sure more will come out during the day. Please keep an eye on that while you make your lineups.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/9/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on DraftKings. You can also check out today's FanDuel lineup picks. As always, don't set your lineups too early. Be sure to check all the NBA starting lineups and player statuses.

If you have any questions about this slate, feel free to shoot me a message on Twitter (@BalesSJustin)

DraftKings DFS Guards

Terry Rozier - PG/SG, at WAS ($5,200)

The majority of the Boston Celtics roster will be out tonight, as Kyrie Irving, Marcus Smart, Gordon Hayward, Jayson Tatum, Marcus Morris, Al Horford, and Aron Baynes have already been ruled out. Rozier has taken over the team with only guards out earlier in the season, and there's very little reason to believe he won't take over in an elite matchup against a fast paced, weak defensive Washington Wizards team. Rozier will see a massive uptick in usage rating, and he's a player that comes with an elite floor/ceiling combination tonight.

James Harden - PG/SG, at OKC ($11,500)

Harden is in the running for MVP, and he can continue to make his case with this game. He's coming off of a 64.75 DK point performance in only 29 minutes on the court. He also recently posted 85.25 DK points against the Sacramento Kings a few games ago. He gets a plus matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder, who have struggled against shooting guards this season. There will be more than enough value on this slate to comfortably fit Harden in your lineups, and there simply aren't many players that come with nearly as much upside.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Jakarr Sampson - SF/PF, vs NY ($6,100)

Sampson has looked outstanding in three games with the Chicago Bulls this season. In that time, he's averaging 23.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.0 assist, 1.0 block, and 1.0 steal (38.7 fantasy points) in 31.3 minutes per game. He has also scored between 35 and 45 fantasy points in each of those games. Sampson gets a plus matchup against the New York Knicks, and he should continue to find similar success in his new role.

Larry Nance Jr. - PF/C, vs CHA ($6,600)

Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson have been ruled out tonight, allowing Nance to continue to take over as the primary big man. He's a double-double threat, who can add assists and steals to his line, as well. He has scored 40+ fantasy points in each of his last two games, and he gets a great matchup against the Charlotte Hornets tonight. Nance can be considered in all leagues for a surprisingly low price tag.

DraftKings DFS Centers

DeMarcus Cousins - C, at NO ($6,900)

Cousins is only averaging 22.4 minutes per game over the last 10 days, but he's also averaging 17.0 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.2 blocks, and 1.6 steals (37.3 fantasy points) in that time. He could see extended minutes, as he gets a revenge matchup against his former team tonight. Normally, I don't buy into these narratives, but Cousins is a player that fits the bill. He has also played only 23 and 24 minutes in his last two games, meaning he'll be fresh enough to play 30+ minutes tonight if that's in the cards.
