DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (4/7/19): NBA DFS Lineups

This is it. The last big slate of the season and unfortunately we don't even get the full schedule. We still get eight games which is plenty, but it doesn't give us the satisfaction of cashing out in a late-season, 14-game slate. The Denver Nuggets have already announced some of their starters are going to rest, so look for their bench to contain the most guaranteed value tonight.

You should not have to spend up too much tonight and keeping a majority of your picks in the $4,000 - $7,000 range should be ideal. Yes, if you can spend up for Rudy Gobert and Julius Randle, do that. Along with Donovan Mitchell, look for Bradley Beal to be the only other top-tier option worth considering.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/7/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on DraftKings. You can also check out today's FanDuel lineup picks. As always, don't set your lineups too early. Be sure to check all the NBA starting lineups and player statuses.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Monte Morris - PG, @ POR ($4,300)

Lately, the Nuggets seemed to have been fighting for seeding, but tonight they have announced they are resting players. That means the 20 minutes Monte Morris has been averaging over the past week is going to see a significant boost, and that's not even mentioning his increased usage rate. He will produce like he always has, but there is a chance with so many Nuggets bench players getting a boost, Morris could slide either slide under the radar or have an incredibly high-ownership. You could go with Malik Beasley as a value play, and even rostering both Beasley and Morris could work out as long as you don't invest too much into the other Denver bench players.

Bogdan Bogdanovic - SG/SF, vs NO ($4,900)

Over the past month, Bogdan Bogdanovic has had no problem scoring. Since his price only slightly reflects that, playing against the Pelicans is only helping his upside. Since New Orleans ranks in the bottom 10 against opposing shooting guards, ride the hot hand and use Bogdanovic as a way to free up space for a few higher priced options.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

P.J. Tucker - SF/PF vs PHO ($3,700)

I'm not sure if this qualifies as a revenge game, but this seems like the perfect opportunity to actually roster P.J. Tucker where he won't totally ruin your day. The Suns have actually been playing fairly well recently, but that doesn't change my overall outlook on this game. The Rockets have no reason to rest anyone, and even if they do, Tucker should still be a safe play. He's key to the dynamic of the team and when superstars rest, Tucker is capable of picking up the slack for one or two games. The season is ending and Tucker won't pull out some monstrous game from nowhere, but he should be able to knock down a few three's and grab a few steals to help him reach his projected.

Mason Plumlee - PF/C @ POR ($4,700)

Normally, I would have saved Mason Plumlee for the Center spot, but that was needed to help throw out another value pick that shouldn't go overlooked. We've seen more than enough times what Mason Plumlee is capable of when Nikola Jokic is not available. Since that's the case tonight, not only will he get more minutes, but his usage will be way above his season average. Since Plumlee is one of the most consistent rebounders on the Nuggets and the Trail Blazers are one of the best rebounding teams, look for him to get extra work and produce because of his size advantage over players like Moe Harkless, Zach Collins, and Meyers Leonard.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Montrezl Harrell - PF/C @ GSW ($5,900)

I've been an advocate to play big men against the Warriors for some time and tonight is no different. Although Pascal Siakam has taken and run away with the Most Improved Player award for this season, Montrezl Harrell has been just as consistent and arguably a more impactful player for his team. The Warriors are still the Warriors and they have the edge in this game based on team skill, but tonight Harrell has the chance of running into a more relaxed, "we're not going to try that hard on defense," Warriors team. They won't just let Harrell score, but they also don't have the size to keep someone like him out of the paint. Look for the Clippers to keep this game close, but that is more dependent on the Warriors team that shows up tonight.
