DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (4/23/19): NBA DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on April 22, 2019. Tom Vecchio provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

After a two game Monday slate, we have a surprisingly large Tuesday slate. There are four games, and this could be one of the final slates of the season with this many games. There are a decent amount of options, as well.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/21/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on DraftKings.

You can also check out today's FanDuel lineup picks. As always, don't set your lineups too early. If you have any questions, send them to me on Twitter at @BalesSJustin.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Malik Beasley - PG/SG, vs SA ($3,700)

Beasley is a player that has found success against the San Antonio Spurs this season. He's averaging 15.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.0 assists (25.1 fantasy points) in only 24.1 minutes per game through eight matchups. Beasley also looked outstanding two games ago, scoring 36.25 fantasy points in 28 minutes. He followed that up with a 25 minute performance, and he should see similar time in this game. Beasley is an elite option for a low price tag on this slate.

C.J. McCollum - PG/SG, vs OKC ($7,300)

McCollum has been locked into major minutes throughout this series, as he has played 36+ minutes in each of his four games. He has also been playing at an extremely high level, averaging 26.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 4.5 assists (43.9 fantasy points) in 37.5 minutes per game. McCollum is still surprisingly cheap, specifically for scoring 43+ fantasy points in each of his last three games. He's a slightly better option at home, and he makes a great option in all leagues tonight.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Caris Levert - SG/SF, at PHI ($5,900)

LeVert has seen his minutes increase throughout his series, as he played 23 minutes in the first game, but saw 42 minutes in his last contest. He has also scored 42.25 and 44.25 fantasy points in his last two games, and looks to have taken over as a focal point of the offense. LeVert has looked outstanding when given the minutes, but his price tag doesn't represent his new role in the offense. He's a strong option in all leagues.

Al-Farouq Aminu - SF/PF, vs OKC ($4,700)

Aminu has been a consistent option, scoring 22+ fantasy points in each of his four games this series. He has also played 30+ minutes in three of those four games, and he's coming off of a 36.25 fantasy points performance. While Aminu comes with some upside, he doesn't always flash that. He has been playing well enough to be considered in all leagues for a low price tag on this slate, though.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Jarrett Allen - C, at PHI ($5,400)

The majority of people will likely play Joel Embiid tonight, but there is value in Allen. He has performed well in eight matchups against the Philadelphia 76ers this season, as he's averaging 11.4 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.8 assists (24.1 fantasy points) in only 21.4 minutes per game. Allen played 32 minutes in his last game, scoring 40 fantasy points. Embiid is expected to play full minutes tonight, and Allen will likely see 30+ minutes if Ed Davis is ruled out again. He's a high upside tournament option on this slate.
