DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (4/2/19): NBA DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on April 2, 2019. Justin Bales provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

We had a great start to kick off the week, but we're back to only a four game Tuesday slate. It's the end of the season, so we have to monitor injuries and rest. Keep an eye on that throughout the day, as it will surely open up more value.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/2/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on DraftKings. You can also check out today's FanDuel lineup picks. As always, don't set your lineups too early. Be sure to check all the NBA starting lineups and player statuses and availability prior to opening tip.

If you have any questions or want to talk DFS, follow me and shoot me a message @BalesSJustin.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Trae Young - PG, at SA ($8,300)

Young is making a push for Rookie of the Year, and he'll look to continue that tonight. Over the last 10 days, he's averaging 25.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, 11.5 assists, and 1.0 steal (53.3 fantasy points) in 32.5 minutes per game. He has scored 40+ fantasy points in eight of his last nine games, while also averaging 53.3 fantasy points per game over his last four games. He gets a good matchup against the San Antonio Spurs, and Young can be considered in all leagues.

Bogdan Bogdanovic - SG/SF, vs HOU ($5,300)

Bogdanovic saw a few games with limited minutes, but that's no longer the case. He's averaging 13.9 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 4.3 assists (26.8 fantasy points) in only 26.5 minutes per game over the last 10 days. He has played 29+ minutes in four of his last five games, though. Bogdanovic has also flashed 45 fantasy points upside over that span. He gets a matchup against the Houston Rockets in what should quickly turn into a three-point shootout. That's one of Bogdanovic's strengths, and he can be used in all leagues tonight.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Lance Stephenson - SG/SF, at OKC ($4,500)

Lance Stephenson drew the start against the New Orleans Pelicans, but surprisingly only played 16 minutes. Prior to that, he played between 25 and 30 minutes in three consecutive games. He also posted 28, 24, and 32.75 fantasy points in those games. He should be locked into solid minutes once against with LeBron James resting for the remainder of the season and Kyle Kuzma dealing with an injury. Stephenson is still cheap, and could see a bit of lesser ownership after burning fantasy players in his last game.

LaMarcus Aldridge - PF/C, vs ATL ($8,400)

Aldridge has been dominant at home, where he's averaging 42.1 fantasy points per minute on the season. While that's impressive, it's his upside we are attacking. He has scored 61.5 and 75.75 fantasy points in two of his last four games, and he gets an elite matchup against the Atlanta Hawks, who have been playing at an extremely fast pace for the entire season. They have struggled against bigs, and Aldridge comes with unmatched upside for a reasonable price tag. He can be considered in all leagues.

DraftKings DFS Centers

JaVale McGee - C, at OKC ($7,000)

McGee's price tag's continue to be one of the biggest surprises of the slate. Over the last 10 days, he's averaging 19.8 points, 14.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 3.3 blocks (48.5 fantasy points) in 30.6 minutes per game. Over that span, he has posted games of 52.5, 54.25, 45.75, and 72 fantasy points. He gets a matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder, who he posted 1.47 fantasy points per minute against in two matchups this season. McGee should be locked into heavy minutes, and he makes an elite option tonight.
