DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (3/16/18): NBA DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on March 16, 2018. Dennis Clausen's NBA DFS analysis and sleepers for building optimal DFS rosters.

There was a sizable slate last night, which leaves only a six game slate for tonight. That's kind of odd, as Friday is generally the "big day" for the NBA. March Madness is going on right now, though, so maybe the NBA does not want to compete for ratings. Regardless, we still have plenty of options tonight.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/16/18. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options, to lower-priced players and value picks on DraftKings.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Dennis Smith Jr - PG, at TOR ($6,300)

Smith has been relatively consistent recently, scoring 30+ DK points in five of his last six games. He has one game with only 13 DK points over that span, though. Even so, he is averaging 15.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, 6.3 assists, and 1.3 steals per game over the last 10 days. He is locked into big minutes for the Mavs, and Smith can be used in all leagues.

Austin Rivers - PG/SG, at OKC ($5,800)

Rivers has been locked into big minutes recently, as he is averaging 36.4 minutes per game over the last 10 days. He has also been playing well over that span, averaging 15.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 1.4 steals per game. He is fairly consistent with good upside, and he gets a great matchup against the Oklahoma City thunder. Oklahoma City has struggled at times against guards, and Rivers can be used in all leagues.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Tobias Harris - SF/PF, at OKC ($7,300)

Harris has been playing at an extremely high level recently, averaging 42.6 DK points per game over his last six games. He has been locked into big minutes, and he is playing a bigger role on the team with Danilo Gallinari injured. Harris still comes with a reasonable price tag, and he makes a solid option tonight, especially in a Los Angeles stack.

DeMarre Carroll - SF/PF, at PHI ($5,400)

Carroll is coming off two bad games, but he was on fire previous to those. Excluding his last two games, he has scored between 30 and 47 DK points in seven of his last eight games. He even he has struggled in his last two contests, his minutes have stayed relatively similar. He gets a decent matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers, and Carroll is a high upside option in all leagues.

DraftKings DFS Centers

DeAndre Jordan - C, at OKC ($7,900)

Jordan is a player that comes with tremendous upside to go along with some risk. He has scored 65.5 and 53.25 DK points in two of his last four games, while also recording at least 18 rebounds in five consecutive games. He is averaging nearly 40 DK points against the Oklahoma City Thunder this season, and Jordan makes a great option in tournaments tonight.
