DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (3/13/18): NBA DFS Lineups

There are plenty of games tonight and the value is there but scarce. With the amount of superstars playing you are going to need to pay up in the right places. The Suns-Cavaliers and Nuggets-Lakers are the games to stack and the points will be flying around in both games. Other than that, look for the Bulls-Clippers game to be one of the next highest scoring games with the Clippers looking to win an easy game and the Bulls being talented enough to play with any opponent.

For the superstars you need to consider, Kemba Walker, Donovan Mitchell, DeMar DeRozan, Anthony Davis, and Andre Drummond round out the list. Karl-Anthony Towns has the ability to be a solid pick, but if you are going to spend up, Anthony Davis is in for a big night and Drummond can give you similar production for a cheaper price. Drummond faces a tougher matchup in the Jazz, but it doesn't scare me away from playing him.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/13/18. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options, to lower-priced players and value picks on DraftKings. Feel free to stop by the Hoops Chat Room or on Twitter @HalfCourtJester, let's get rolling.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Tony Parker - PG, vs ORL ($3,900)

This pick makes little sense from an outside perspective. Older player on the second night of a back-to-back against a younger team, but don't be fooled. Parker played a soft 15 minutes last night and was inspiringly productive. The Magic are the worst team against opposing point guards and that is going to be the driving narrative. Parker is going to put up shots and point while the Spurs rebound after a tough loss last night. If the Spurs keep LaMarcus Aldridge out for extended time, Parker should see some very valuable usage.

Zach Lavine - PG/SG, vs LAC ($6,200)

The Bulls are in full tank mode, but that hasn't changed Zach Lavine from getting close to 30 minutes in his most recent contests, regardless of production. That is a positive sign for DFS and most likely a way of the process of creating chemistry between teammates. He's usually leading the team in shots and the Clippers defense struggles to close out on more inside scorers like Lavine. They won't just let him take open shots but they sure aren't going to keep him from getting his shots off.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Darius Miller - SF/PF, vs CHA ($3,700)

Darius Miller didn't finish the Pelicans last game very well. It seemed every time the Pelicans tried to get something going, there was a mishandle or the Pelicans simply missed. Miller didn't have the worst game imaginable, but he was clearly not effective when his team needed him to be. Not a knock on him as a player, it just wasn't his or the rest of the Pelicans night. With that, Miller looked angry, which isn't the best for most player, but it does create a new level of focus that Miller has shown flashes of all season. The Hornets can be exposed by solid shooting and Miller should be using this game as a rebound after going just 1-for-4 from deep.

Paul Millsap - PF/C, at LAL ($6,400)

It's not unfortunate that Paul Millsap's production is relative to his usage, but it does put a serious cap on his ceiling. The Nuggets are a well-balanced attack that doesn't really need Millsap, but can rely on him. The Nuggets are not necessarily one of those teams that play worse on the road, but they do tend produce more from spot-ups and more isolated situations. The Lakers defense is young, but they are athletic, close out, and hustle. The Nuggets should win this game, but the Lakers hot-streak has definitely put an L in the loss columns of teams better than the Nuggets. But hey, Millsap should have a good game as the defensive minded veteran who has been eating up frontcourts all over the league for years.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Marquese Chriss - C, vs CLE ($3,800)

The Cavaliers defense continues to be one of the worst in the league and the Suns are going to be looking at this game to make a bit of a statement. Teams always play up against the better teams so don't be surprised if you see Chriss in his rare form. It doesn't hurt that the Suns will be playing at home, not like it makes a difference, but Chriss benefits more from his teammates than he does generating on his own. His price is low and it's been a while since he's had a really productive game, but it's hard to pass up someone with his skill-set against a team that struggles to guard stretch bigs.
