DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (3/21/19): NBA DFS Lineups

Let's be real with ourselves for a second, almost all of our brackets will be busted by the time the NBA's six-game slate kicks off tonight. Acceptance is the first step to recovery, so just let it go and allow yourself to make some money on DraftKings instead. Not that assembling the perfect DK lineup is any simple task, but the odds are more tilted in your favor this way. Slightly. Also, go Heels!

Below you'll find some of my favorite mid-to-low-priced picks from tonight's six-game slate. Hopefully these players enable you the flexibility of a Nikola Jokic or two in our lineups without necessarily sacrificing production because not only is hitting on a few of these mid/low priced players essential to building a winning DFS lineup, but I find no value in breaking down the ways in which Karl-Anthony Towns is good at playing basketball. Sorry.

PS - there are several key injuries which could alter the landscape still up in the air at the time of this writing, so be sure to check the NBA starting lineups for player availability prior to the opening tip.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Josh Okogie - SG/SF, at CHA ($3,900)

All but eliminated from playoff contention, the Wolves are limping across the finish line as they look forward to Saint Lucia. Not only do the slim to none playoff chances often lead to more run for the young bucks, but injuries to both Jeff Teague and Derrick Rose have again forced Mr. Okogie to step in and produce on the offensive end. And produce is exactly what he's done over Minnesota's last two with 20 points, five rebounds, two assists, and two steals per.

His inconsistencies make him far from a lock, and it's hard to imagine he'll continue to shoot 61-percent from the field and 46-percent from deep. But, he's seen 33 minutes per game over the last two, and that isn't likely to change so long as Teague and Rose remain in street clothes. Not a bad dice roll given the circumstances or the opponent, Charlotte, who haven't exactly been stout defensively.

Bojan Bogdanovic - SG/SF, at GS ($5,900)

Bogdanovic has been one of few -- if not the only -- consistent sources of offense for this Victor Oladipo-less Pacers squad. He leaves much to be desired in both the rebounding and assist categories, but the 27-straight double-digit scoring efforts are hard to argue with.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Josh Jackson - SF/PF, vs. DET ($4,800)

Jackson is like that ex that always seems to hit you with a perfectly-timed "wyd" text just when you thought you were officially over them. Unpredictable, but always tempting. A recent string of injuries to Tyler Johnson and Kelly Oubre Jr., in addition to the absence of T.J. Warren, have the temptation at levels beyond resistance tonight and when you factor in his 17 points, six rebounds, and two assists per game over his last three, "thinkin bout u" is the only logical reply.

Jabari Parker - SF/PF, vs. DEN ($6,300)

Trevor Ariza went down with a groin injury Wednesday night, and while the severity remains to be seen, Parker should extend his streak of 30-plus minutes of court time to five tonight. If not, well, he's been balling regardless - 19 points, eight rebounds, two assists over the Wizards last 10.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Dwight Powell - C, at SAC ($6,000)

The Kings have allowed opponents the most rebounds per game this season and Powell is the Mavs second-leading rebounder since being entered into the starting five towards the end of February. He's also second on the team in scoring with 17 points per over this 11-game stretch (prior to last night's game), and his energy makes him a safe bet to provide additional value on the defensive end almost nightly as well. $6,000 may seem like a steep price here, but opportunity combined with a favorable matchup and the possibility of Maxi Kleber missing a second-straight contest make it a bit less tough to swallow.
