DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (2/14/18): NBA DFS Lineups

We have a MASSIVE 12 game NBA slate, as it is the last full day before the All-Star break, and there are some interesting options across the board. There are a number of injuries going around, so this should open up some value plays once we get the starting lineups.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 2/14/18. I play both cash and GPP, so I will be looking for both players who have consistency, along with value plays that have upside from a favorable match up, or other factors.

If you have any questions or comments, let me know @DFS_Tom on Twitter. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for sites like FanDuel, and other sports too. Let's get to it.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Kemba Walker - PG, CHA @ ORL (DK - $8,600)

Walker is up against the Magic, who he has simply torched this season, so the prime spot for him. In the two games he has played the Magic, he has averaged 34 minutes, and a whopping 57 DraftKings points per game. Not sure if there is another player in the league who has that level or production against one opponent, but we want to jump on this matchup. He has a 30% usage rate, along with averaging 1.12 fantasy points per minute this season, making him a solid cash game option. The Magic are giving up 49 DraftKings points per game to point guards, which is dead last in the league. Walker has taken 15 or more field goal attempts in nine of his last 10 games, which shows he has plenty of pure scoring upside for tournaments.

Bradley Beal - SG, WAS @ NY (DK - $8,900)

The Wizards are very thin at guards right now since they are dealing with a ton of injuries, so plenty of upside for Beal to shine. With this set of injuries going around, Beal has a 32.6% usage rate, along with a averaging 0.91 fantasy points per minute. He is a bit pure scoring dependent, but with him taking over 20 shots in three of his last six games, he has massive upside. He has scored 44 or more DraftKings points in two of his last three games, and is now up against the Knicks, who are giving up 40 DK points per game to shooting guards.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Michael Beasley - SF, NY vs WAS (DK - $6,900)

Beasley is up against the Knicks, who are giving up 42 DraftKings points per game to small forwards, putting Beasley in a good spot. We know that Beasley is seeing an increased role in the offense now that Kristaps Porzingis is out with an injury. Beasley now has a 31% usage rate, and is averaging 1.12 fantasy points per minute. Since grabbing the starting role, he has put up 34 or more DraftKings points in three straight games. With his high usage rate, and consistent production, he makes a great cash game option. This game doesn't have the highest over-under, but still a good spot for him.

Nikola Mirotic - PF, NO vs LAL (DK - $7,000)

Since being traded the the Pelicans, Mirotic has carved out a nice spot for himself in the their offense, which should only continue to grow as the playoff push approaches. He has scored 43 or more DraftKings points in three of his last five games, and is up against the Lakers, who are giving up 48 DK points per game to power forwards. This game has an over under set at 226 points which is massive, so you will certainly want some exposure to it. He also has double-doubles in two straight games, so showing a nice bit of tournament upside, which is certainly reachable in a high scoring game like this.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Jarrett Allen - C, BKN vs IND (DK - $5,200)

Allen has seen his role increase a good amount in the Nets offense over the past week or so, and this is a great spot to capitalize on it. He is up against the Pacers, who are giving up 55 DraftKings points per game to centers, which is second worst in the league. He is averaging 0.98 fantasy points per minute this season, and has two double-doubles in his last 10 games. The consistency isn't there, but the upside because of the matchup and his expanding role makes a very interesting GPP option.
