DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (1/21/18): NBA DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on January 21, 2018. Justin Bales' NBA DFS analysis and sleepers for building optimal DFS rosters.

We have a small four game slate today, starting at 1:00 PM EST. It goes all day, which is somewhat difficult without late swap. This is far from my favorite set up, but we are going to attack this slate regardless.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/21/18. I play both cash and GPP, so I will be looking for both players who have consistency, along with value plays that have upside from a favorable match up, or other factors.

If you have any questions or comments, let me know @BalesSJustin on Twitter. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for sites like FanDuel, and other sports too. Let's get to it.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Tim Hardaway Jr. - SG/SF, at LAL ($6,800)

Hardaway Jr. is a high upside option, who has been heating up a bit recently. He has scored 40+ fantasy points in two of his last three games, although his minutes have been a bit low. He could see 30+ minutes tonight, though, adding to his upside. Furthermore, he is a huge part of the offense and will be locked into double digit shot attempts today. He gets a great matchup against the Lakers, who are always looking to push the pace, and Hardaway Jr. makes a great tournament option.

Evan Fournier - SG/SF, at BOS ($5,900)

Simply put, Fournier is too cheap today. He is averaging 18.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.6 assists in 32.2 minutes per game over the last 10 days. He has also scored at least 30 fantasy points in three of his last four games, displaying tremendous upside against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Fournier gets a tough matchup against the Boston Celtics today, but he is cheap enough to be considered in all leagues on the small slate.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

LaMarcus Aldridge - PF/C, vs IND ($8,900)

Aldridge has taken over as the focal point of the San Antonio offense with Kawhi Leonard out once again. He has looked elite in his last three games, scoring 45.5, 51.5, and 48.25 fantasy points. He gets a good matchup against the Indiana Pacers, who rank 24th in the NBA against the power forward. Aldridge will continue to take 20+ shots today, and he can be used in all leagues.

Thaddeus Young - SF/PF, at SA ($5,400)

Young has been playing well recently, as he has been locked into big minutes with Myles Turner injured. He has scored between 25 and 37 fantasy points in five of his last seven contests, displaying a bit of consistency to go along with good upside. He gets a tough matchup against the San Antonio Spurs, but that has caused his price tag to drop. The Spurs do not necessarily have the elite defense they have been known for in previous seasons, making Young a solid option at a discounted price tag today.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Bismack Biyombo - PF/C, at BOS ($6,000)

Biyombo is somewhat of a traditional center, focusing on rebounds and blocks. He is averaging 11.0 points, 11.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 2.0 blocks in only 27.0 minutes per game over the last 10 days. He has also scored 45.5 and 50.75 fantasy points in two of his last three games. The Celtics have struggled at times against centers this season, and it would be wise to use the big man against a weak Boston frontcourt.
