DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (12/7/19): NBA DFS Lineups

There are five total games tomorrow. but only four on the main slate. While Anthony Davis may have stolen the show in terms of production, the big news from yesterday was the firing of David Fizdale. That decision is going to have immediate implications as the Knicks take on the Pacers at home, so look for someone like Elfrid Payton, who is just returning to the lineup and could make for a sneaky-cheap play, to be included within whatever rotation the Knicks decide to throw out there against Indiana.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 12/7/19. You can also check out today's FanDuel lineup picks.  Remember to monitor injury news as the slate can completely change before line-up lock.

Find me in the NBA Chat Room or @HalfCourtJester on Twitter if you have any questions.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Darius Garland - PG, @ PHI ($3,900)

Much like Elfrid Payton in terms of price, Darius Garland has upside for a totally different reason. While there is a decent chance the Cavaliers will play with a certain "fire" after all reported negativity surrounding the locker room came out, the reality of the situation is that Cleveland just isn't that great of a basketball team. They have talented players, who if they all are able to hit their shots on the game can compete with top-tier teams, they will most likely get blown out by Philadelphia.

Garland has been getting minutes and even though he is inconsistent, he is going to see plenty of run tomorrow. If the 76ers allow him to be left open, he can make them pay, he just needs to step up to the occasion.

Justin Holiday - SG/SF, @ NY ($3,900)

The Knicks are going to be in shambles and I am going to target that. Not only in this a revenge game for Justin Holiday, but even Jeremy Lamb has been known to beat the Knicks on his own. Much like the Cavaliers, the Knicks could be fired up to play and try and shift the narrative in their favor, but that shouldn't really impact their defense. Holiday only took two shots in 22 minutes last game, so look for immediate improvement against his former team. As stated earlier, Lamb is also a solid play here.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Royce O'Neale - SF, vs. MEM ($3,900)

This is a very risky play for reasons that do not need to be explained. Luckily, for anyone that decides to roll with Royce O'Neale the upside is absolutely there. Despite the Grizzlies having some talented players, a majority of the team is young and struggles. I would be more specific, but it's pretty much everywhere. Every player has a chance of having a great game because every player will have open looks. Memphis might keep up for a bit, but if O'Neale is cheap and the type of transition player that crushes weak defenses.

Larry Nance Jr. - PF/C, @ PHI ($5,200)

The 76ers are ranked in the top five against opposing power forwards and centers but everyone who watches Larry Nance Jr. play knows he thrives against unathletic defenders. Al Horford is skilled on both sides of the ball, but he will have to keep up with Nance and if Horford is out, there is no one on Philadelphia that is really capable of rebounding at that capacity. Add Tristan Thompson into the mix and there is no way Philadelphia can risk focusing on Nance if Thompson is doing his normal rounds in the paint.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Mitchell Robinson - C, vs. IND ($5,300)

Between Mitchell Robinson and Myles Turner, it was surprisingly hard to choose. Turner has seemingly lost that spark that made him one of the most feared up and coming players, leading to inconsistent box scores, and Robinson is a young center that is going though a front office crisis. Ultimately, Turner is in the better spot and with his salary, seems like the smarter play.

What I was thinking was, if the Knicks need to rebound, which they will, there is a good chance Robinson will see a ton of minutes across from two elite rebounders. If he can repeat some of his recent performances in terms of rebounds, I am confident the points will follow tonight.
