DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (12/6/19): NBA DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on December 6, 2019. Jake Finnen provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

With a 10-game slate Friday night, only the Nuggets and Wizards also played Thursday, so while I'd suggest picking against the Wizards, there is no real reason to target the Nuggets. There will be plenty of value to choose from on the Wizards roster but be extremely wary. Players like Ish Smith, who is extremely cheap with incredible upside, rarely tends to string solid outings together and playing against the Heat doesn't help his upside. That being said, playing an established point guard against on of the top defenses should mean Smith will be extremely low owned tonight.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Lou Williams - PG/SG, @ MIL ($6,400)

Instead of doing my normal routine of picking super-value plays, my brain is fried and change is easier to free-write so I will be going with the highest priced players I can find that should exceed their projected. In this case, Lou Williams versus the Bucks is almost a lock. The Bucks backcourt defense isn't very good statistically, despite being individually talented, so look for Williams to try and keep up with the scoring of Giannis Antetokonmpo and Eric Bledsoe. Williams has been playing well even with Paul George in the lineup so it seems as if the Clippers know exactly the direction they want their offense going here on out and that means high-usage for Williams.

Buddy Hield - PG/SG, @ SA ($7,600)

It was between Zach LaVine facing off against the Warriors or Buddy Hield versus the Spurs. Normally, when Steph Curry is playing, LaVine is the go-to here. Even without Curry, playing LaVine is extremely enticing, but I'd suggest going with the slightly cheaper play. Many people will be fading Hield in hopes that he cools off, but against the Spurs I just don't see it. There is a level of player that tends to cool of naturally and Hield is not one of those players.

 

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Danilo Gallinari - SF/PF, vs. MIN($6,400)

I'll be completely honest here, even though I think Danilo Gallinari will exceed projected, I think there are better options out there. I was initially thinking of targeting either teams wing scorers, someone like Jarrett Culver or Terrence Ferguson. Both will be extremely cheap but carry a ton of risk compared to Gallinari. If you have the salary, I wouldn't worry about Gallinari producing, but if you like chasing the big-risk, big-reward play, look for forward options off the bench.

Moritz Wagner - PF/C, @ MIA ($5,000)

Since Thomas Bryant is likely to miss another game or two, and the Wizards are already playing on the second night of a back-to-back, look for some of the younger Wizards to step up against the Heat. It will be a struggle against one of the top defenses, but this is why we are going to the play the minutes. Since there is a gap in the frontcourt and especially when it comes to scoring, Davis Bertans, Moritz Wagner, Bradley Beal, and Ish Smith will be forced in starter like production. Just in case this game get's out of hand, Wagner is still good to see a bump in minutes.

 

DraftKings DFS Centers

Ivica Zubac - C, @ MIL ($3,500)

Ivica Zubac will have his hands full trying to stop Milwaukee from getting to the paint, but in terms of controlling it on the offensive side, he should have very little problems producing. The Bucks doesn't let up a ton of points to opposing centers, but every team is susceptible to big men like Zubac. If the Bucks aren't able to contain Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, and Lou Williams, Zubac is going to feast on easy buckets. Since the Bucks ARE going to struggle to maintain those players, I'm feeling confident in playing him tonight. Jarrett Allen and Domantas Sabonis are solid plays as well.
