DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (12/3/18): NBA DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on December 3, 2018. Tom Vecchio provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

We have a seven-game slate to kick off our NBA week and the slate is loaded. There are four players over $10K you may want to pay up for, but you'll need a bit of savings to get up to those players, so let's take a look at a few players in the mid-tier, along with one high-end option.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 12/3/18. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on DraftKings.

You can also check out today's FanDuel lineup picks. As always, don't set your lineups to early and check player statuses prior to opening tip. Give me a follow on Twitter @DFS_Tom with questions or comments. Good luck everyone.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Klay Thompson - SG, GS @ ATL (DK - $7,400)

With Curry being back for the Warriors, we should see a bit of ownership go away from Thompson which hopefully, makes him a nice tournament option on this slate. He has faced the Hawks one time this season, where he ended with 43 DraftKings points coming from 24 real points and took seven three-pointers. Love seeing this type of scoring upside, especially when this game has an over-under set at 232 points, which should mean plenty of fantasy points to go around. There is certainly a bit of risk with Thompson, as he is only producing 0.99 fantasy points per minute, meaning he doesn't contribute in many other categories besides pure scoring.

Fred Vanvleet - PG, TOR vs Den (DK - $4,900)

This could be a chalky value play tonight, but with Kyle Lowry missing the Raptors most recent game, he is listed as questionable for this game. VanVleet got the start on Saturday night for the Raptors, where he posted 26 DraftKings points in 33 minutes. That is slightly below one fantasy point per minute, but when he is under $5K, he doesn't need to do a ton to reach value. The matchup for him is very average for him, as he is up against the Nuggets who are giving up 44 DK points to point guards this season, which is ninth lowest in the league.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Cedi Osman - SF, CLE @ BKN (DK - $4,700)

Osman has posted 21 or more DraftKings points in three of his last four games while playing 30 minutes or more in all of those games. Tonight, he finds himself up against the Nets, who are giving up 37 DraftKings points per game to small forwards this season. Osman comes in with a usage rate only at 18% while posting 0.66 fantasy points per minute. While those might be impressive numbers, he is another cheaper player tonight who will help you roster some of the big name stars tonight.

Danilo Gallinari - PF, LAC @ NO (DK - $6,600)

Anytime there is a game in New Orleans, we see a Coors Field type fantasy environment, which is why the over-under is set at 238 points tonight. Gallinari has posted 31 or more DraftKings points in four straight games, a level of production he should almost certainly be able to reach tonight since the Pelicans are giving up 48 DraftKings points per game to power forwards. Love this spot to do a bit of a game stack, where Gallinari should be a solid option tonight.

DraftKings DFS Center

Enes Kanter - C, NY vs WAS (DK - $6,600)

Kanter is in one of the best spots on the slate since he is up against the Wizards who are giving 58 DraftKings points per game to centers this season which is eighth worst in the league. Kanter has piled up 42 DraftKings points or more in three of his last five games, while adding five double-doubles in his last 10 games. Love the consistency from him, the favorable matchup tonight, and he very reachable price.
