DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (11/4/18): NBA DFS Lineups

There are seven total games today with only six on DraftKings' main slate, but enough with un-intriguing intro sentences. There are plenty of quality games being played tonight and the Trail Blazers - Timberwolves and Lakers - Raptors will be the games to watch and stack. LeBron needs to be played in most lineups and there is enough value out there to allow you to stash more than one superstar, including Kawhi Leonard, Damian Lillard and Jimmy Butler. Those four places have quality upside tonight and it's guaranteed you'll need a mixture of at least two to cash out.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 11/4/18. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on DraftKings. You can also read today's FanDuel lineup picks and our Premium DFS Cheat Sheet, as well as, check out the NBA DFS Matchup Ratings tool for daily player projections. Remember to check lineups before the games start and if you have questions, find me in the NBA Chat Room or @HalfCourtJester on Twitter.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Damyean Dotson - PG/SG NY @ WAS ($4,800)

Although Trey Burke is the value play with upside, he has fallen off a steep cliff in terms of DFS value. With Demyean Dotson providing more scoring and athleticism, it's easy to see why he's teh starting point guard. The Knicks are by far the furthest thing from a complete team, but they do have players that are more than willing to move the ball when they need to. Tim Hardaway and Mario Hezonja are the only real shoot-first players that are solidly in the rotation, so expect them to carry most of the workload, but do not fade Dotson because if he is starting then he will produce.

Spencer Dinwiddie - SG/SF BKN vs. PHI ($4,800)

Both Dotson and Spencer Dinwiddie are the same price but Dinwiddie has the CLEAR edge here. It does not matter who Dinwiddie faces, he is going to get his and keep his team in the game. It's hard to deny this type of talent when it happening night-in and night-out. Dinwiddie will continue to delver off the bench and it's only a matter of time before his role is either solidified as the starting point guard for an NBA team, or playing 30 minutes off the bench like a new-age Lou Williams. Either way, his price is low and it probably won't get much lower.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Mario Hezonja - SF/PF NY @ WAS ($3,400)

Another cheap value option that carries a ton of upside. He will be looking to score and get to his spots regardless of the score and the chances someone like Otto Porter is guarding him all game in unlikely. This should be the game that the Wizards use to bounce back, but from their previous games, it doesn't look promising. The Wizards are going through an early-season slump that is quickly turning into a team-changing trend. If the Wizards are in fact back-peddling as bad as it looks, the Knicks and Hezonja will be the final step in causing a tumble within the Wizards organization.

Pascal Siakam - SF/PF TOR @ LAL ($5,000)

This is such a moderate pick I feel like it's a waste. There are cheaper options out there and Siakam doesn't have the most upside, but this is a matchup he should excel in. He is going to produce every game and it seems that his scoring isn't a problem, but his most promising aspect is that he has been getting more minutes every game. He has finished with a positive +/- in all but one game so his positive impact is there, he just needs to have more of those double-digit rebound games to be relevant. Look for that to happen tonight.

DraftKings DFS Center

Dwight Howard - PF/C WAS vs. NYK ($5,900)

Dwight Howard is returning to the Wizards lineup tonight to hopefully save the season. The Wizards have been flailing early this season and the chances that DWIGHT HOWARD comes back to help with all the problems is unlikely. Luckily, Howard is going to be going up against Enes Kanter and Mitchell Robinson to start his season so his work is cut out for him. Even if he doesn't see that many minutes, if he can be anything even close to how he played last season, his price is a steal. Although the Knicks rank near the top in most rebounding categories, there is no accounting for playing against Dwight Howard and this game is going to be an outlier for both.
