DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (11/17/19): NBA DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on November 17th, 2019. Austyn Varney provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

Welcome to NBA Sunday! With most eyes pointed towards the NFL, we have plenty of money to make over here on the hardwood. We have just four games on the main slate, but there is plenty to look at across the board. Let's dive right in!

Let's dive in!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 11/17/19.  You can also check out today's FanDuel lineup picks.  Remember to monitor injury news as the slate can completely change before line-up lock.  Find me in the NBA Chat Room if you have questions or @HalfCourtJester on Twitter.

DraftKings DFS Guards

LeBron James - PG/SF, LAL vs. ATL ($10,700)

With so much value on this slate, LeBron James is a guy you want to lock into your cash games and tournaments. The Hawks play fast and the Lakers have shown a willingness to adjust pace with their opponents. James isn't expensive enough on DraftKings to warrant considering fading. There is a ton of value to play with on this slate and James is a near-lock to get over 50 fantasy points in this match-up. You can play him at guard or forward, but play him somewhere.

Ky Bowman - PG, GS @ NO ($3,000)

Ky Bowman is a lock on DraftKings and I would be surprised if he’s anything under 80%. At the minimum price, Bowman may hit value in his first rotation. With Russell previously out, Bowman played 35, 37, and 38 minutes. Steve Kerr obviously trusts him enough to run the offense for nearly the entire game. He eclipsed 30 fantasy points in two of those three games and now gets a match-up with an extremely fast Pelicans squad. Lock Bowman in.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Anthony Davis - PF/C, LAL vs. ATL ($9,200)

Anthony Davis is far too cheap on DraftKings. Without much to pay up for on this slate, I don’t see a world where you don’t play him. This Atlanta Hawks interior is terrible against bigs and we know AD is going to eat all night long. Lock him in for 60 fantasy points if the game stays competitive throughout. Even in tournaments, I don’t see the upside in fading Davis or LeBron on DraftKings. You can absolutely play them both in the same lineup. Just make sure to get some Hawks correlation.

Kenrich Williams - SF/PF, NO vs. GS ($5,400)

With the Pelicans beat up, Kenrich Williams has seen 30+ minutes in three straight and over 38 twice. He’s extremely productive when on the floor and thrives in fast-paced games with peripherals to go around. I expect another 35 minutes out of Williams in this game and it sets up perfectly for him. Golden State is a terrible defense and only getting worse with the constant injuries. Williams does it all when he's on the floor and his upside comes with the three-point shot.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Nikola Jokic - C, DEN @ MEM ($8,700)

Jokic is obviously going through a cold streak, but he’s still putting up solid numbers. He’s been over 43 fantasy points in three of the last four and now gets a Memphis defense that can’t stop anyone. The Grizzlies have a different reputation, but the truth is a team that plays fast and can’t stop anyone at the rim. Valunciunas is average when in there, but he still plays limited minutes and hasn't been as good as we expected defensively. I love Jokic going for 50 tonight.
