DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (11/15/19): NBA DFS Lineups

This is for anyone that might need to read this today. If you have confidence in a pick, roll with it. Yesterday, my one play. The only player I felt extremely confident rostering was Rodney McGruder. Heading into this game it was obvious he was going to get extra minutes, then Patrick Beverley was announced out and things started to fall apart. Instead of trusting my gut and sticking with the play of the night, I got nervous Doc Rivers was going to resort to his younger players before McGruder. I ended up taking out McGruder assuming he would only generate 10-20 FPTS at basement level price and I was wrong.

The game started with McGruder doing exactly what I thought he was going to do and then some. He started of three for three from deep and I knew my night was over. Let this be a lesson to you. Don't tinker and trust my gut. Nikola Vucevic, Russell Westbrook, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander all have cheap prices given their upside.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 11/15/19. You can also check out today's FanDuel lineup picks.  Remember to monitor injury news as the slate can completely change before line-up lock.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Tim Frazier - PG, @ CHA ($3,400)

These are going to be the two cheapest options that still retain upside tonight. Tim Frazier has seen a small share of minutes but he is known for producing whenever on the court. The only problem is that based on what Frazier has done in his most recent outings, it's not promising. You could go a tad more expensive and go with Langston Galloway who is lined up to have another productive game, but it's hard to see him having the same type of usage that will help him beat his projected.

Last game he posted a 26% usage rate, but was unable to really contribute worthwhile stats. That should be different tonight and he should look to find upside in points and assists.

Ish Smith - PG, @ MIN ($3,700)

Similar to Frazier, Ish Smith needs minutes to be valuable. Luckily for us, Smith is a much more refined product and tends to be more efficient and contributes on a regular basis. He consistently fills the same role nearly every game which is great for trying to predict a good game, but it's hard to see him getting all that many minutes tonight. As much as I want to find a cheap option, these two might be your best bet and rostering both, while risky, could pay huge dividends.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Justin Holiday - SG/SF, @ HOU ($3,800)

Keeping the trend of super-value plays, there is rebounding upside in this game that gives Justin Holiday a specific boost. Since Holiday is the ideal 3-and-D player and neither the Pacers or Rockets have been efficient from deep, there is good reason to see why Holiday is lined up to have a promising outing. His price is low enough that if he is your only value pick, you have great flexibility and there is minimal risk. Holiday is going to produce and he has been getting the minutes so while the Pacers need to hit their shots to win, expect Holiday to be contributing in anyway he can.

 Gogo Bitadze - PF/C, @ HOU ($4,000)

Like stated in the previous blurb, there should be plenty of rebounds to go around, and since Gogo Bitadze has been missing some time after suffering a concussion, his price has seen a decent drop-off. Moving forward his defensive capabilities should guarantee his minutes in the frontcourt and since Clint Capela has been dominating nearly every matchup, someone will have to be there to slow him down. Bitadze might not stop him completely, but he should be able to limit Capela's production while managing to secure some counting stats himself.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Richaun Holmes - C, @ LAL ($5,800)

Richaun Holmes has a fairly patchy game log, but with that you can pretty much guess when he is going to have a good game. This might sound silly, but on games where he is expected to get rebounds against other power forwards, he does extremely well. On night he is forced to play against a true center, he struggles mightily. Tonight, he is going up against multiple true centers. This does not look good for him, but he will be low owned and I actually like his upside versus Anthony Davis rather than JaVale McGee or Dwight Howard.

I expect Holmes to get close to 10 rebounds tonight, but he needs to move off the ball and capitalize on pick and roll opportunities if he wants to double-double.
