DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (11/14/19): NBA DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on November 14, 2019. Drew Deen provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

The Thursday NBA slate means the weekend is almost here.  Before shifting our focus to the NFL Sunday slate, let's build some bankroll through this five-game slate.

The LA Clippers are the only team playing on a back-to-back after losing to the Houston Rockets on the road last night.  The highest implied vegas total for the slate tonight belongs to Milwaukee/Chicago with a total 0f 231 at the time of my writing.  However, this game comes with the most blowout risk as the only double-digit point spread.  Just below this game in total points is the Phoenix/Atlanta game, which I anticipate will be popular.  Note that the Pelicans/Clippers match is not listed at the time of my writing, but expect a high total due to the Pelicans pace of play.  Kawhi Leonard is a potential candidate to rest on a back-to-back, and Paul George is reportedly making his debut.  Remember, I am writing this article well before any news and before me submitting lineups.  This information should be used directionally, and feel free to reach out to me on Twitter closer to tip-off.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 11/14/19. You can also check out today's FanDuel lineup picks.  Remember to monitor injury news as the slate can completely change before line-up lock.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Deandre Bembry - PG/SF, @ PHO ($3900)

With all of the injuries to the Atlanta guards, I cannot see a scenario, outside of injury, that DeAndre Bembry does not crush this price tag.  Evan Turner, Vince Carter, and Kevin Huerter have already been ruled out for this contest leaving a ton of minutes and balling handling to Bembry, Cam Reddish, and Trae Young.  I have no issues firing up any of these guys and plan to use at least two of them in my lineups barring better value options opening on the slate.  Bembry struggles to shoot from range, but his ability to score fantasy points in other categories makes him nearly unfadable for the expected minutes in this game.

Spencer Dinwiddie- PG, @ DEN ($5,700)

Continuing to target players in newfound opportunities, I will be looking to target Spencer Dinwiddie on Thursday Night.  Before the injury to Caris Levert, Dinwiddie was already one of the best and most high-usage bench players in the NBA.  Now that Levert is in street clothes, the Brooklyn Nets will lean even more heavily on the talented guard.  While the Nets do have some solid role players, the only other playmaker is all-star Kyrie Irving.  Expect Dinwiddie to dominant the ball when Iriving is off the court and also play plenty of minutes alongside him.  We just need the Nets to keep this one close and Dinwiddie to not have a dismal shooting night.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Kelly Oubre - SF/PF, vs ATL ($5,500)

I know the recent box scores are ugly, but so much of DFS is about being able to target players at low price points.  For $5,500, I simply believe Oubre is too talented for a matchup that should feature plenty of pace and scoring.  Oubre was scoring 33-40 DK points per game early in the year before his pedestrian stretch of play.  Look for Oubre to bounce back strong on Thursday night.  I will also be targetting Devin Booker and more from this game.  Frank Kaminsky makes for one of the best values on the slate before any Thursday news.

Kristaps Porzingis - PF/C, @ NYK ($6,900)

Kristaps Porzingis on the road against his former team immediately after a 13.75 DK-point performance?  Sign me up for the talented big man at a season-low price of $6,900 in what should make for an electric scene at Madison Square Garden.  I'm expecting the boos to be flowing, and I'm hoping Luka Doncic and company feed Porzingis the rock early and often.  While Rick Carlisle has shown no hesitation in using other bigs when Porzingis is playing poorly, I am more than willing to take this risk for a guy that has a 50+ DK-point ceiling.  Additionally, you would think Carlisle would give his new star player every opportunity to play big minutes against his former team.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Nikola Jokic - C, vs BKN ($8,600)

The Brooklyn Nets are allowing the 2nd most points in the NBA this season are headed to Denver for a game against the Nuggets.  Jokic and the Nuggets are coming off of an embarrassing home loss to the Atlanta Hawks Tuesday night, and I'm expecting a strong performance from this Nuggets squad.  Jokic has not quite put up the numbers we are used to this season, but he remains the primary option on this offense.  I have been targetting this Brooklyn defense all season and will continue to do so on Thursday night.  Feel free to fire up other players from the Nuggets as well.

Take a look at Alex Len for a value play at $3,600.
